Hey Rennlist

I’m a fairly new member here as I recently purchased my very first 911 - a 992 C2S in Jet Black.

For what it’s worth, I’m coming from an F80 M3 (F80 Build Thread) and it seems a fairly common occurrence that the natural progression for M3 owners is to end up in a 911. So, here I am.

Let me start out with some pictures:

As far as planned mods, I don’t think I’m going to go as crazy as I did with my F80 (Akra/KW V3 Coilovers/HRE Wheels/CF Kit/S3 Tune.. etc) but we’ll see after I get some seat time on the car.

However, I did get clear side markers and spacers to start.

Other top of mind mods would be Akra slip on exhaust, suspension kit (springs vs HAS), and wheels…. But might keep the Carrera Exclusive Design wheels for a while..

Anyway, car is scheduled to get Full PPF this week + Ceramic. Opted to go with clear/gloss finish on the PPF as I did XPEL stealth on my F80

From the subject, I was worried that it was going to be murdered out with green interior highlights, but the silver wheels dodge that bullet. Looks great.

Haha yeah.. have to break it up - no murdered out look for me. I’m pretty sure I’ll bump into you at Sunday Motor Co Cafe at some point.

Looks great. I'm a fan of colored belts in a black interior (I currently have black interior 991.2 and 718, both with red belts) and unlike the deviated stitching it's a relatively inexpensive option but gives lots of color. Yellow would also work, esp. with black or GT silver exterior.

Thank you! Agreed - I think having colored seat belts breaks up the the black interior and adds that nice pop of color. Have it on the tach and chrono as well.

Funny you mentioned yellow… I had it on the configurator at some point.. Chalk with yellow interior accents.

Beautiful car. I love black with that contrasting interior accents. Usually people go for yellow or red but the lizard green looks awesome.

Got the car back from full PPF and can finally enjoy this thing! Clear side markers are also on.

2 month update:

Finally got some mods done after months of waiting.

Slight drop on the car with the KW HAS as well as HRE P104SC in Stone Clear.
