Average age of 992 owners
#76
Just retired at 61 and treating myself to a 992 Carrera S (1st Porsche) order locks in 25 days arriving in Nov. Would of liked a European Delivery as I did on my M4, but will look forward to a factory tour and Ring visit in the future.

I'm 76 and I'd be one, if I could find an allocation to custom order.
Took a pass at the one I'd want on the Configurator, and it was $243k.
It would be my #12 Porsche since my first Porsche in 1970...

Just turned 50. Bought first Porsche (86 944 Turbo) at age 27. Loved the 944 Turbo. Its what started the love affair.
In order:
86 944 Turbo
97 Boxster
08 Cayman S Sport Limited Edition (still own)
16 Macan S (still own)
21 992 S manual (scheduled to arrive late July)

25!
First car bought by myself and I’m lucky enough to pick up a base 992 with low spec in the middle of the pandemic (the market right now is crazy), it is slightly over my budget.
worked hard while in school and got lucky right out the university.

42, first time 911 and macan owner.
I’ve had BMWs for 20 years (excluding a foray into an Impreza) and M cars for the past 12 years, until the two pigs arrived.
911 is great, Macan turbo is the load lugger and also great.
Age isn’t a thing for Porsche ownership, two things count…. 1. Cost to buy/finance and 2. Can you get in it and be comfortable. 1. Gets generally easier as you get older and 2. Gets harder as you get older

Got it for my 33rd Birthday. 1st Porsche. Have a 2009 CRV and wife has a 2014 CRV. Had a 03 X-Type and 06 3-series previously. Talk about an upgrade! I was going to wait another 5 years but the wife actually pushed me to get it now as we have no kids yet so I can drive it more. 0 regrets.
