992 Gt Silver with tan interior, yes or no?
Hi, i'm working on my new Targa 4S specs. I was thinking of Gt silver with tan interior. I can't find much pictures or video with that combo. I've seen it with truffle wich is nice. One of the reference and inspiration i got was the 991 speedster heritage that had something similar. Pictures of my specs and inspiration. What do you guys thinks about it?

I would stay away from the browns on this build. I have a Targa 4 allocation -- 2022 -- and I've spec'ed it with Sport-Tex. I would suggest that, or Grey/chalk stitching. And, of course, Black/Bordeaux always works. I chose those wheels too, but without any black paint. I think they look best all silver.

There's a GT Silver over tan 991 on my street and the combination works surprisingly well. I think you have to see this one in real life. The consensus online will be that it doesn't work, so you might be reluctant to pull the trigger. But I think with GT Silver it does.

Go with the sports tex seats with chalk stitching.
My build is very similar!

Tan is pretty neutral and would work with most any color.
The speedster interior is cognac, which I believe is darker and more rich compared to mojave. Mojave is a fairly light beige.
Personally, I would do full Bordeaux or Truffle with GT Silver. Both with the standard chalk stitching.

As someone who was deciding between Mojave Beige/Truffle Brown/black Bordeaux with GT Silver, I decided to go with Truffle Brown and chalk stitching. This plays off the silver over brown and provided a striking contrast while the chalk stitching adds some lightness. I’m not final yet but 80% sure, so I may decide to do black/Bordeaux if iI can get passed the red stitching. Would prefer chalk or white contrast.
Beige was a strong consideration for me but I think it really needs to be a richer brown or even cognac color to work since GT silver is very light. I think Luxor Beige with Black from 991 generation may work here as well but that’s no longer available.

I'm surprised more GT Silver buyers aren't going for the Agave Green with Chalk stitching (club leather) option. That's how the UK Turbo S press car has been specified, and looks stunning in countless YouTube videos:
My plan is to go Agave Green at this point. It's more a question of GT Silver vs Chalk.
On the subject of Mojave beige, I think it looks pretty nasty in YouTube videos. But in person, I think it looks excellent. If I was looking for a beige interior (I'm not, that's what I prefer in my family SUV) I would spec it without hesitation.
