My dates have bounced around as well. Original delivery date 6/10, jumped to 7/10, but then production ended up being completed early so now it’s 6/20. Current sitting at Emden Port with departure date of 5/17. I guess I just missed the 4/30 boat.

I just got off the phone with the GM at my P dealer and he was informed yesterday that the delay is due to the TPMS sensors that are installed at port in the US. He was told that Porsche is doing everything they can to get them there as soon as possible and it’s fluid so could be released earlier.

on a related note he also was told they can’t order Macans or Cayennes with lumbar for the next 60 days which is going to hurt sales of those models. He said there were other options he could not order but didn’t volunteer and I didn’t press him.

interesting times.

I also have a car on the Viking Queen, dealer is telling me a mid-June delivery is more likely. It's a Macan GTS with 18-way seats which I'm being told is the cause of the delay, couple that with possible TPMS shortages I'm in for a long wait...

Interesting. My C2S Cab is on the Viking Queen. When I saw the delay on TYD, I contacted my rep. He said my delivery would be on schedule (late May). I mentioned the TPMS and he said it was installed at the factory. I’m hoping he is correct.

btw, the Viking Queen ETA is now May 8.

I even told my SA that the boat is set to dock this Saturday and they are still telling me that I won't be able to take possession of the car until mid-June. They even advised me to extend the lease on the car that is being replaced due to the delays.

My dates were always 6/18 delivery. Production started 4 days early, wrapped a week early 4/23 instead of 4/30 and arrived at Emden in time to catch the 4/30 boat. As a result my delivery jumped to 5/28.

My delivery date just moved up to 6/13. Was supposed to be loaded onto vessel on 5/21 but that just changed to being loaded onto the RCC Europe tomorrow 5/7. Delivery date had been as late as mid July a couple months ago.

FWIW my car arrived in San Diego on Monday May 3rd and was released to transport today, Thursday May 6th, so barely even 3 days for port processing. I'm hating it for you guys that are being held up for TPMS or for whatever reason. I gotta say I'm a little skeptical about the TPMS story, simply because it seems so sporadic in terms of which cars are getting supposedly held up for it. But with all the global supply chain woes right now, I suppose anything is possible unfortunately. Best of luck to you, hope it gets to you soon.

My C2's completion photo was dated 5/3 as opposed to 5/7 initially projected . Delivery was changed from 6/25 to 6/11, but loading and delivery are each three weeks apart from the initial build completion date, which is the default interval. The TYD shows car on boat 5/21, but it should be sooner (5/9 on the Siem Cicero) according to the shipping schedules. I'm hoping for delivery in Nashville a little earlier.

"GM build-shy strategy has hordes of vehicles parked awaiting chips" https://amp.freep.com/amp/4924733001

Could you imagine if your 911 is hanging out in a lot for months waiting for chips? Yikes

My C2S just entered port processing yesterday in Davisville, on time. While on the ship Porsche backed up the estimated delivery date from 5/14 to 6/11 in TYD, so will keep everyone posted.

Got good news my C2S is on board the Siem Confucius. That’s two weeks ahead of original schedule. Car was in port only a week and must have barely missed the RCC. Looks like I barely missed the delay others are seeing. Good luck to others waiting. TYD is just an estimate and can drive you nuts.

My build actually is 2.5 weeks ahead the original delivery date.
