Default Everything new for 2022 (video)

Not sure if this was already shared. Sorry if it was. But here is a good video of everything new for 2022.

I have a 2020 and I admit I'm a little jealous of a couple of changes.

Not jealous here with my 2021 C2S. I'm very glad I don't need to pay for Apple CarPlay, I definitely like having the Noise & Weight Reducing Glass. Now, if only I can figure out how to get the new GT-3 PDK Shift Lever at some point, I'll be a happy camper!

Wiring for dashcam and prep for roof rack without sunroof are the only things of interest to me. The LAST thing I'd want is tech that let's the car run into something park by itself.

I really wasnt "ready" to pull trigger on 4S this past year but now I have serious buyers wait remorse in that I really wanted the NRG option but now it is not longer available so Im basically paying $2K more for the option of not having that option!!

Hahaha, "let's the car run into something".

Ya. I have a dash cam, with a battery pack. It's a clean install, so I think that's a simple fix.

The android auto for me is honestly the biggest deal. And possible the updated USB charger and PCM interface/ram.

Run the wiring for the dash cam down the A pillar (watch the airbag). It's not rocket science

The '22 changes aren't blowing my skirt up. Happy with my '21.

Yeah, that is a miss I think.... I love the noise insulated glass on my TTS, but I would not get it for a 22 since it combines a ton of other stuff I don't want.

That’s disappointing. Other than the Homelink change, it’s all fluff.

So they "fixed" Homelink in the new one? Early adopters get shafted per usual?

Early adopters always get shafted, I think it's one of the 11 Commandments

I think the main upgrade is a more memory and a faster PCM load at start up. I just unlock the car a couple of minutes before I get into it. I wouldn't consider a 2021 production car an early adopter. The car came out in 2019. They have had months to resolve issues and for the most part I think they have. I for one have no issues with comfort access, the Garage door rattles or anything else I have read about. I have a faulty cab roof sensor that is being replaced right now, but this is a very well built car with thousands of parts, moving and stationery. I am certain that I will also have Android Auto in the next few months, so I really do not see any difference in the 2022 other than a higher price and many more months before I can enjoy ownership. Then we will have a thread on 2023 and 2024. YOLO. Lets drive. I have 1250 miles in 15 days of possession.
