I noticed on my PPF that the area I circled (which is above the rough bottom/plastic) does not have a seam and traps water in it a little when I wash.
I'm just wondering if this is the normal situation for others? To me the seam should be an open area, but maybe there is a reason it is not?

Hey. With correction and PPF I am spending about $9500 including taxes. Would be a bit cheaper if he didn't have to remove hood and impact area behind the doors factory PPF. If I didn't do the one piece A-pillar to hips it would have been a good bit cheaper also. But that seam mid hip would have annoyed me so went with the full deal.

I only did the front clip on my GT500 and of course had a rock chip in the door and on the roof. Didn't want that to happen with this car.. I believe this will also help a bit when I go to sell it. Just my feeling on it.

And the PPF is Xpel Ultimate 10 mil film. Good film and super clear. I am a little **** about my stuff and you really can't tell there is PPF on the car, except for front fenders now.

I'm not sure about the plastic part and seam. I will ask what he does with that and reply when I talk with him.

once the rear bumper edges gets chipped and rough, it’ll need to be repainted to be perfect

then you can apply an edge pattern that protects the vertical and lower edge of rear bumper, or simply ppf the whole rear bumper for the win 👌

supposedly XPEL

My car is full PPF. As it was a CPO, it was ordered without the rear model badge. If I built the car, it'd be badged.

What are peoples thoughts on the badge going OVER the PPF? This was the suggestion the SA noted when I asked about it.
make sure to prep the ppf well and should be ready to accept the new emblems…we do it on most our installations
