I selected Carrera Exclusive Design Wheels and Wheels Painted in Jet Black Metallic.
I am approaching my freeze date.
Does anyone know how Jet Black Metallic paint looks ?
Are the metallic flakes large ? I'm having second thoughts if I should just go with high gloss black ?
I wish I could see a sample.

JBM has blue flake. In bright sun there is just the faintest hint of blue. It's a great color.
The Exclusive Design wheels are great looking, especially in person. Before your lock, check out the satin black. I have titanium which I think looks the best with my particular build, but the satin black ones have a particularly special look to them. Great choices either way.
The exterior paint is GT silver, I'm not sure if the jet black metallic on the wheels is compatible with the GT silver.
There are no samples for me to view , can someone post a close up photo of the JBM ?, thanks.
I spent more time than Id care to admit driving around to various dealerships looking at every interior and exterior option I could.
I think the Satin black paint for the exclusive wheels looks best with most builds because it ties in well with the black plastic bits all over the car. Only if I was doing JBM exterior would I do the JBM painted wheels. If I were doing one of the non-metallic colors Id consider the Gloss Black and definitely gloss black if doing lots of other gloss black accents (SD kit, mirrors, trim, etc).
Though personally with GT Silver I prefer the Classic wheels and would also consider the Satin Platinum Exclusives (because I dont really like black wheels).

I see. Totally missed that.
I would personally get gloss black for the wheels. JBM is very subtle, but I don't think the flake will do GT silver any favors.
I would go with gloss over JBM. That said JBM will look fine but also find it slightly odd to have metallic paint on the barrels. I went with satin as I like the look but it was a tough decision versus gloss as satin is a PIA to clean.
Exclusive Design wheels look great on GT Silver. Jet Black Metallic, Gloss black, or Satin Black, I don't think there is a wrong choice. The blue metallic flake in the JBM is very subtle. It is barely noticeable with the limited application of black on the wheels since most of visible area is the machined/cleared surface of the spokes.
