That's the one I need as well torn between paying top dollar on Suncoast or getting used on eBay but they all seem to have blind spot detection

Try FCPEuro at least they don't force you to pay for FedEx or UPS. Great service too!

Are auto dimming side mirrors included on the S? Or all models of the 992? I don’t recall checking the option or even paying attention to it. When I think of dimming mirrors, it’s only the rear view mirror that comes to mind.

having lived in europe for a number of years it still frustrates me that our mirrors are obviously inferior... similar to dynamic lights (which we are finally getting!). My M3 which I still love and purchased in 2015 has adaptive headlights... here we are 7 years later

I can't believe how you Americans put up with those stupid mirrors. I was astounded at the difference between aspherical ECE and flat US DOT mirrors (on the same car); there's just a lot less visibility. No wonder I see loads of people dangerously turning their head over the shoulder when changing lanes in the US, or just blindly depending on the blind-spot monitors and LCA - neither of which are necessary, obviously, but still...

Ok, I am German, living in the U.S. for 20+ years. While the European mirrors clearly are a convenience, the same result can be achieved by positioning the U.S. mirror appropriately at a wide angle, i.e. you do not see the side of your own car. I drive a Cabrio, meaning with top up you see nothing even with a correct "looking over your shoulder turn". With the correct mirror setting there is zero blindspot and I have been using this set-up ever since I moved to the States. Having LCA, of course, is a nice feature especially in a Cabrio as well.
