Alas, no cell reception most of the way; only option is a sat phone. Weather is predicted as SUNNY and in the high 50s - a heat wave with not a snowflake in sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope to post Saturday as I aim to spend most of the day customizing and modifying with my Launch.
OK, first little crumbs until tomorrow. An absolutely gorgeous day, Mt Denali undressed for us, hardly a car on the road... and my garage seems very happy again for some reason. Thanx to my co-pilot Pat for the pictures and company. More to follow including first impressions in a separate thread. Longest 3 months in memory

Congrats!! Fabulous car and love the rear view mirror pic!! The wait is brutal. I pick up mine at Porsche Experience Center ATL in less than two weeks.
Congrats on FINALLY getting your Guards Red 992! It seems to take FOREVER to get it but not very long to put the miles on it. However those miles provide a TON of smiles. Looking forward to your impressions.
P.S. It's always interesting to see your pictures with so much snow when it is going to be in the low 80's here early next week.

And with SUMMER tires no less
All in all it was very quick. I remember putting down a deposit in mid January, it was on the Mediterranean Highway March 3 at the dealer at the end of the month and two weeks or so later I had the car. I still don't have my tags but dealer promises to expedite it or renew my temps. Very annoying as this "service" should be an option. Maybe they will take it into account for the next person.
A lot of stuff to do on the car: wash the dust and insect debris, do all the Launch mods, frunk liner, configuring the PCM, drill the rear license plate mount (I won't do a front)... and so the first 400 miles are on the clock. Thank you all for bearing with me as the wait seemed interminable and answering the myriad questions. It's not only the car, it's the people!
Point of fact the wiper was ordered, given that when we reach a certain age we regress into our teen years no doubt, as I remembered that from my 911T. Lastly given the issues with the Macan rear window (a magnet for every piece of dirt in the universe) and it will be driven all year made it a cheap but necessary option. But it does look a wee bit "retro" as they say.
