Congrats Siberian! Is that guards red over slate interior? Looking forward to seeing the pictures once it arrives and has all that shipping stuff off the car. I'm going to be locking in my GR Carrera S build in the next few days. Looking forward to joining the club in a few mos!
Did you have any of your electronics on power peak protector/rectifyers? Mine are and I think de facto insured up to a million as our current fluctuates quite a bit and power outages are not "uncommon" and lasting days. Not so much of an issue lately as with my 7KvA Honda, as long as I have gas, I power the essentials (including my 330 foot deep well, two freezers and TV room ... - stove is on propane). Found out years ago how long and how much propane it took to melt snow (not the yellow kind) for us and the kids...the well needs to work
Good luck with the insurance claims if the actual hit isn't bad enough to have to deal with them can truly wreck what's left of your day.
Glad to hear everyone is safe. Please keep us posted.

SP Forgot to ask but the "rides" are safe correct??????

No, the interior is black leather and red deviated stitching. I can't even begin to tell you how long the next couple of weeks or so are going to be. Let me know if I can help you spend your money; I got pretty good at it with this build. As someone remarked wisely, "my greatest fear is dying and having my wife sell my TT S for what I told her I paid for it..."
Best of luck and keep us posted on your choices (which will change hourly if not more often as you approach "lock day")
Got the red interior for the wife's 2020 Macan S and silver exterior. I thus understand the dilemma as we went through the same for her car ...
Here are some pics of what your choice could be:
Great minds think alike, why this can't be permanently "off" like in the Macan or 991. Need to add the Home Link and then spend sleepless nights pondering how and with what to organize the rest...
And also thank all of of you who helped with the myriad questions I had as I tried to firm up a build. If the permutations are near endless your advice helped clear the fog and lighten my wallet!
Now the mods will begin!

And you wallet will lighten again and some more Siberian. LOL. Great looking car. Enjoy when it finally gets there!
Congrats! I grew up in Anchorage and remember driving in the winters there. I also owned a 2015 RS5 and miss that car. I can say that my C4S is my favorite car that I have ever owned though, and I am thoroughly impressed by the driving experience. You will not be disappointed making the change from the RS5.
The first "modification" has been done for me by the dealer:
*** will now be accessible for easy OFF
Oh, absolutely. Auto stop/start on the home screen is mandatory. That was my very first "mod", too. But, knowing you, I suspect it won't be long before you'll be investigating a way to code that one permanently off.
If you aren't inclined to switch into sport mode when your engine is still cold, Individual mode with auto/stop-start disabled is another approach.
If you have an iPhone, here's a similar pseudo-"mod" : I put a Carplay button on the home screen and also added auto stop/start to the "info widget" - that has really cut down on my touch screen fumbling whenever I forget to turn off auto/stop-start.
