You have snow tires on? Did you get Pirelli or Michelin? Thank you for your comment, I can't wait...
siberian
I have summer OEM tires
we had rough Jan/Feb in our area
but March has been delightful
planning on driving the car next winter, dealer already sorting out my options for a winter set
You're obviously nowhere near as far North as I'm at but from the general feedback and since there are no Nokian, it's between Pirelli Sotto Zero or Michelin Alpin 5. As an outsider there are the Vreds which might perform well in your latitudes but definitely not a deep winter tire. Keep us posted on your choice as others closer to you might be interested. FWIW, it's still snowing here...will be firing up Olga soon.
OK the first teaser pics forwarded by the dealer prior to us doing a virtual walk through and wiring the cash etc. I'll be leaving the plastic on the seats to protect during shipping. The colored wheel caps are not yet on FWIW. Looking good but will look a lot better when I'm in it
siberian Shipping protectors just removed What's with the blue wipers?

Yep, if it wasn't for this COVID epidemic and border closures etc. I would have made the trip for the sake of "breaking her in". But cost wise...it's probably a wash when you add airfare, meals and lodging, gas, ferries... Here's a last one showing the partial deviated stitching and reason I didn't go with the red (or other color) tach/chrono as I felt it would overload the interior.
A very full build except for PCCB given where I live. Thanx so much for your thoughts/comments!
siberian Partial interior view with deviated stitching
Yep which is why I thought that adding red tach and chrono coupled with the red deviated stitching on the steering wheel would end up being too much. Thanx
siberian, this looks great. For my next 911, I'm definitely going to get the deviated stitching (but I think I would still get the red tach and chrono). Love your build.
Now being a virgin 911 owner and having only done 1300 miles I can HIGHLY recommend doing something about the outside rear arches and stone chips!
The UK grit has played havoc with the Porsche applied stuff and a couple of chips around that area. Agate grey doesn’t shown them that bad, but that red will show every little imperfection.

except I'm not paying more to ship two flimsy vinyl protectors for more that the item is worth because it's shipped via UPS/FedEx. Will check on eBay etc. Thanx for the heads up!
Looks awesome! Guard Red is such a great classic Porsche color. To my eyes the 992 wears GR the best. Also love the rear wiper. Congrats!
Given the atrocious back window on the Macan which is a magnet for every piece of dust in the universe, I wasn't taking a chance. I know it breaks the line but I need functionality over aerodynamics. Thank you for your post, it will be a long 2 weeks or so before I see her. And it's still snowing (another 4 inches) got to get Olga going...
