Worst time for deer are just before dawn and at dusk, and around mating season (Sept - Oct). My friend drives at night so he can hoon around. I avoid it for deer, and because of limited vis. It's fun to hit those highway on ramps late at night with the windows down though

All of these stories about deer now have shaken my courage. I think I won't do any late night drives again!
