I had it on one of my 991.2's. My clear ones had turned yellow and I went with the black ones. I think I did the soapy water install. I think? Where you just spray the fender with soapy water and slide it into place. Let it dry and your done. I remember removing the clear one was more of a pain in the *** than putting the new one on. That much I remember!
Bought the one from Suncoast before my C2S arrived, planning on having the PPF place install it. The installer was unable to get that one to work, but created his own from a satin finished black wrap material. Could not be happier with the result. So just be sure they'll take it back if you don't like it.

I thought I got them from suncoast parts. Im pretty sure I had to mix soap and water to slide them into place and weegee the excess water out. I think that the black ones where a thinner material than clear stock ones. I also remember seeing "peppering" in the black ones after some time on the road.
So in my opinion. The clear ones worked better hiding all the chips. But they turn yellow and dirt gets trapped around the edges of the clear. The black ones looked cooler to me. But after a year or so, they had tons of peppering marks. Which you couldnt see unless 5ft away. But I remember thinking to myself, that the black ones showed more damage sooner.
Here's my first 911. 2017 911S with the black stone guards.
Im not sure I like it on the 992 though. I think the 991.2 rear intake holes help tie that look in. It kind of looks ok on the 992 with sport design REAR bumper though...
