Point being, the OP mentioned how fast the 911 felt and it is. But there are faster cars with automatics, big power and sound at similar prices. Tech is better in MB and BMW cars. The M8 competition is about the same price as a C4S.
But I will stick my slow manual C4S on a winding back road.

I’d bet the guy didn’t activate launch control given he didn’t know how to brake properly... 🤣

Not many production cars on the planet beat a Turbo S from a dig on an un-prepped surface.

Yep. Pick up some groceries, drop the kids off at school and then run a 10.1 sec 1/4 mile.

That pretty much sums up 911 ownership!

Today the wife drove 50 odd miles whilst I played “hunt the loudest door rattle ever”, stopped at the butcher, then the baker (candle stick makers are closed at the moment unfortunately), then she proceeded to run the county lanes home being pushed by a nondescript Merc until she had enough and left him for dust.

Happy Friday!

Around here I have yet to see a woman driving a 911. I think it would be neat, particularly if they drove in a spirited fashion (which women never do)

At the risk of excommunication, one (not primary) reason I traded in a Turbo S for my Targa 4S was that my wife would be more comfortable driving it. And I have to say she looks pretty good in that with the top down and she gives it a pretty spirited ride. Surprisingly, she got hooked on doing launches after a day at the Atlanta PEC, where her driver took her through about a dozen of them in a Carrera 2S and a Cayman S. To save face though, primary reason was that I always wanted a Targa and was fortunate to get one of the first US allocations for a 992 Targa back in the summer of 2020.

Last time I will soil this topic, but she used to drive my F10 M5 like she stole it....C4S and her macan turbo much safer for this type of tomfoolery.
