For those reporting tires before taking delivery, is there somewhere on your TYD where it informed you what tires went on, or is this all being done by "Production Photos" that were taken by Porsche and uploaded to TYD? I have a 992T on order... it doesn't enter production for a couple more weeks, but curious where people were able to learn Tire type ahead of delivery. Thanks
My current 992 was delivered with the Goodyear Eagle F1 which were perhaps my LEAST FAVORITE tire of all time... after 6K miles I ripped them off and put the proper Michelins on.

Funny because I have never had the Goodyears before and I really like them. They have done well on the track and look good after 10k miles. I would buy them again after my experience thus far.

You did't get the production pictures and zoom in like everyone else?

Eagle F1 - as long as you monitor pressure they're pretty good, although I've heard they can get a little 'dancey' when it's very cold
TRUE STORY! They are very good tires but they need to be up to temp. I live in FL and that’s less of an issue - my son has them in the Northeast and struggles to find grip when it’s cold.

Haha Not yet! My car is scheduled for production on 3/10... so I will be doing this as soon as a photo comes my way, but all these recent responses answered my question, thank you

Perhaps it is weather as others have pointed out? I live in Boston... humid summers, cool spring and cool fall (never drive it in winter: Salt Kills!).
My issue with the goodyear was traction for sure, and harsh over bumpy roads (we have horrible roads in New England). I found myself not being able to put down any of the power and the most noticeable difference between goodyear and Michelin (outside of track driving) was when doing Launch Control. The Goodyear just could not grip the road and would always throw traction control etc in Sport + Launch... once I installed the Michelin, I was able to get plenty of traction and clean launches every time.
Im really glad that others are having good performance out of them, and I'm sure my new 992 will be optioned with either the goodyear or Pirelli, so I'll be forced to give one or the other a second try before caving and buying the Michelins.
