Angry Delays with the aerokit

Hi! I ordered a 992 last december. TODAY they told me that the aerokit is having some delays. They will say more to me in a few days.

What don you know about this problem?
Should I be annoyed whith the seller because I just saw here in another thread that some users get this information in january?

Thank you! (and sorry for me english)

This has been covered many times. To the best of my knowledge there will be no aerokits until 2022.

Thank you for the answer. Can you show me a thread where I can read more about it? I cannot find it using words as “aerokit” or “delay” (maybe is because im new at the forum and I dont know how to use it quite well).

I just find:
- 992 aerokit still suspended?
- WARNING: ALL AEROKITS SUSPENDED

Do you know any more information?

Thank you!

I was at the dealership over the weekend and was told by two different people (my SA and my tech guy) that it's been discontinued, I was surprised as the earlier threads on RL indicated it was a supply/COVID issue. This sounded more "permanent"......

Porsche might want to take it off the configurator if it’s discontinued. I wouldn’t buy a 992 without the front aero kit but that’s just me.

This is correct. Covid may have aided in making the decision to pull the plug early, but Porsche has always made the aero kit a short-run item. They have discontinued the item for the current run of cars. Perhaps when the 992.2 cars come, they might offer it again. However, I doubt that as well. I don't believe an aero kit was offered for the 991.2 models.

I hope it will be the duck tail rather than the aero if they do

Bumping this up since as it is now May. Has anyone recently successfully ordered a 992 with aerokit?

I heard from my SA today.
‘Good news, I got an allocation slot for my S.
Bad news, no aero kits available for my 2022, December delivery.

Thanks NAV5 for the reply, did your SA say why? Is it still a supplier issue or simply discontinued moving forward?
