You don't have to, and we did not for any part of development or installation of the system for these cars. Are you thinking of installing yourself or at a specialty shop?

Do you already have something for the European cars?

European cars can run our Valved Exhaust System as it connects after the factory emissions control devices. Let me know if you'd like some more details.

Nick just finished building a Valved Exhaust System and is proud to show it off! Nick cares greatly about making sure his welds are high quality and thanks everyone for the opportunity to build our more intricate systems.

We don't need no stinking valves! . I have the non-valved version and it's awesome!
Me too
My only issue is that there are several tracks that I go to that have sound level restrictions.
I've used down turn tips in the past, but with the new bumper/tips set up I don't think that's doable anymore.

In your case, you'd probably want to stay with the OEM exhaust and valve logic and look at something like headers and / or sport cats with a tune. You will have a sound enhancement with these parts, but not the transformation of the Performance Exhaust System - volume increase could be compared to the Valved Exhaust System (although the tone won't be quite as good). You can even just go for headers to start with.
What tracks are you running?

Thanks Dave.
The two that are an issue are Calabogie, ON and Mont Tremblant Quebec.
We also run Mosport and Watkins Glen which are no problem.
Thank you! I am extremely happy with how much the car sounds and performs using the new 992 sport cats in combination with the Softronic ECU tune. My 992 C4S is transformed. It needed the extra HP and torque
The cats make the car in combination with the PSE sound very throaty and intimidating upon startup and during acceleration. I have already put over 150 miles on the car since yesterday. Also, please feel free to post this testimony, as it was the subtle touches and treating me like a friend that made the experience amazing. From Paul in sales helping and answering my questions, to John, welcoming me into the shop, and the entire Soul PP team taking interest in my Porsche.
What is expected weight reduction between PSE and Soul valved unit? Just curious. Thank you.
The best weight savings is forged wheels, hands down. Otherwise, our Performance Exhaust System saves 6.5lbs and the Valved Exhaust system would have negligible weight savings. The Porsche chambered mufflers are not as heavy as the NA cars with side and center mufflers.
