Default Roof liner sagging

I've had my 2020 992 for 4 months, noticed that the roof liner is sagging slightly over the passenger seat. Anyone else see something like this? It's not serious enough (yet) for me to bother with taking it into service for just this. I only noticed it when opening the passenger door and seeing the unexpected lighter color at the top due to the exposed roof insulation. The third pic is the driver's side and shows what it should look like.

Passenger side of the roof liner is slightly sagging and revealing the insulation

Close up of the sagging and exposed insulation

Driver's side is not sagging, doesn't show the insulation

Looks less like a sag and more like a poor "connection" to the rubber seal around the door?

Just following up - I mentioned this when I brought it in for my yearly service. During check-in the SA said the roof liner had just come untucked, then proceeded to tuck it in all around the top and side of the door opening. Problem fixed.

No. It’s not fixed. Sorry. I had same issue. Ultimately Porsche chose to have the entire roof lining replaced. It only gets worse as wind gets underneath and pulls away more and more. It’s a known issue.

Mikey, I had gone back and couldn’t find this old post to update my issue. I had messaged you a while back. Since then the dealership recognized it wasn’t just a tuck in, they told me that the first time I brought it up. But they finally looked closer, took pictures, and reached out to porsche. Porsche acknowledged it was an issue and replaced the entire roof liner. Mine was identical to yours, exact same spot and exact same sagging. They sent the new ceiling and the dealership had a local upholstery man they work with do the work. It came out perfectly. So I’d recommend you have them contact porsche, because porsche is aware of the issue. Good luck.

Thank you for calling this out. I will bring it up with them again in my next service visit.
