Assuming the hazing is gases being released from interior plastic then yes, it could but I'd have thought a glass protector would be just as susceptible and anyway you can clean haze off a glass surface quickly with a decent glass cleaner, like you would the windscreen.

It can be removed at any time by just pealing at one corner. It has its own proprietary temporary adhesive

I bought the one from Suncoast. Carefully installed it and took it back off almost instantly. For me, it was way too shiny and reflective. Changed the look of the dash. Not for me.

perhaps this thin glass protector would be a better alternative for you

rigid so you only get one chance to get it right
