Nearest dealer is 60 miles away and with covid all around I don't feel that I need to try one out. I have driven several 991.2's so I KNOW I'm gonna love it!

I would have liked to have PSE ! I will drive for a while and do my homework on exhaust options. I don't want to void my warranty and I don't like the idea of taking the rear body work off. Hope it is not TOO quiet....

Ha! Is this your first Porsche 911? Rear comes off for any/every service since they hid the engine in the 997! Since the 991, the rear of these Carrera's come off for almost everything...your dealership is well versed in it probably. My service advisor is like its a piece of cake...so don't worry that much about the rear coming off. As for aftermarket exhausts...if you just do that cat back you shouldn't have a problem. I have done AWE, Fabspeed, and Akrapovic exhausts x2 on my 911's and none gave me an issue at the dealership. In fact my last two exhausts were Akrapovic Ti cat backs and the dealership service managers, techs, and my sales advisor in each case loved the exhaust fitment, sound and had no problems with the modification. Even asked me to bring it by so other customers considering cars could hear/see them. So you should be fine with that. It is when you get into Cats and downpipes and tuning that some dealers may get a little shook and things get unclear.

The rims look good with the GT Silver. On the configurator they kinda look waaay shinier than the car and I wasn't a fan. I can't tell are those the 19/20s or 20/21s (after second look, they seem to be the 20/21s)?

3.2 seconds 0-60, 11.5 second 1/4 mile@120MPH. These are *** kicking numbers.

If you get the S, definitely splurge for the PCCBs.

I have a 2021 Corvette Convertible on order and I also have caught the 911 992 bug. Max I can pay at the moment is $200K for BOTH NEW cars. I can swing around $105K plus TT&L for the Porsche. That is basically a standard unit with a few relatively useless options that the dealer nearly always order. I usually keep a car around 5 years and average less than 2k miles per year on my garage queens. Truck, Jeep and 4 bikes for daily drivers. Question is this: I know most buyers like heavily optioned or high performance models and in most cases don't mind paying for them, but will resale on a bare bones 2021 911 be decent primarily because it will come in at a much lower price point?
