PSE can be added as any aftermarket exhaust option. That isn't an issue really...If you like it and the price makes sense get it. Shipping is easy also...plenty of ways to get a car to you and many buyers purchase cars out of state/non-locally now a adays....sometimes you almost HAVE to in order to get the best deal and/or vehicle you want!

Also would add as others have noted...why get both? Don't see myself driving both...unless I just want to have BOTH cars for some reason. If it were me I'd take the extra remaining $$$ and get into something different (an SUV maybe) or hell get a Boxster or Cayman T or Cayman/Boxster 4.0 GTS and then you really have options...best of both worlds. Or a new bike as some said. Don't think the vette + 992 combo is the best use of cash here. IMHO

I'm 6'4" tall and a smaller car just won't work. I have been on the C8 Corvette list for a year and a half so I won't get the Vette for around another 6 months. At 71 with health issues I have the cash for both and I can easily fit in the Chevy. First time I have been without a Vette in 18 trouble-free years. Sold my last one and got on a list at MSRP and then Covid ruined my plan. I purchased a Challenger Scat Pack 392 (that's 6.4 Liters for you metric types) to scoot around in while I'm waiting. I may enjoy the 992 so much that I may just resell the C8 after it arrives. They seem to be going for around 20K over sticker right now but I'm not sure if that will be the situation in 6 months. Pic of 4 post lift where the 992 will reside.

Jumped on this new base 992 yesterday. I think that I might just forget the C8 idea!

That is basically a standard unit with a few relatively useless options that the dealer nearly always order. I usually keep a car around 5 years and average less than 2k miles per year on my garage queens. Truck, Jeep and 4 bikes for daily drivers. Question is this: I know most buyers like heavily optioned or high performance models and in most cases don't mind paying for them, but will resale on a bare bones 2021 911 be decent primarily because it will come in at a much lower price point?
I personally would recommend you cancel the Vette order and use $ for 911 trim and/or options; but to answer your question any 911 will hold value unless it is an odd spec, so you’re fine with a stripper. There is plenty of demand for them. Another option would be a 718, then you could order more trim/options with the same budget.

Congrats! GT Silver really shows off the curves! I wondered once you owned one if you’d even look at the C8 any more. Happy driving!

Car has the Carrera S wheels, the large elec/slide tilt sunroof, door stripes, the ridiculous $420 tach red ring ( what a gyp! ), the Sport Seat Plus, multifunction Sport Steering Wheel and power folding mirrors as well as the GT Silver exterior paint option. I think that I was very fortunate to find it! Can't wait!

You won't know it until you've been driving it for a bit, but you've just made the best car decision of your life. Congrats!

Congrats. Let us know how you enjoy it once you get it in and get to drive and enjoy it for awhile. Also curious if the C8 purchase still takes place. Keep us posted.

Beautiful! Enjoy. No need for a corvette with that. Mine is GT Silver too! You would never drive the vette anyway!
