Painted black calipers?
Simple question -- does anyone have these and do they have pics?
Considering getting this on my new build. I'm back and forth on it.
For those who have it -- do you find that they get dingy from brake dust? Do they still look good? Are you happy with the choice or would you have stuck with reds?

I know this is not really an answer to your question here, but I have them on my TTS with ceramics, so no brake dust anyway, I didn't want yellow calipers. Always found brake dust a problem with black wheels and steel discs before, but not now.
I think unless you have PCCB's then brake dust will always show on the black.....well it has in my experience, the times I washed my cars and the first time the brakes were applied the wheels looked awful again, so I suspect black calipers would too, but I also know people have changed their pads to try and stop this....... can't comment on how they faired.

I had my red brakes coated with Modesta and they are staying clean. However, I am considering painting them black. They are a bit of a distraction to the rest of the car. For some paint colors it would be a definite yes. On my next one, I will have them painted black. It seems to be more of an advertisement that you bought "x" brake or have "x" model. My car is already without badging, so black would ft the style better. I am not even sure if that was available when I built my car. I don't remember seeing it.

Perfect. That looks great.
I tend to agree. Red calipers used to be iconic for Porsche big brakes, but they are a little more common now. I'm going for a black out theme and I'm thinking the bright red would end up standing out too much in real life.

I was kind of surprised this wasn't offered as an option. I assume the performance is not up to 911 spec. The PSCB calipers are also ENORMOUS. Not a fan of the size or the un-drilled disk. The white color is cool though.
