^ I got $14k off sticker price for the fact that it has 200 miles on it. Not a bad deal....

It is also a year older model...2020 right? Depreciation hit there too.

All that matters is if you are happy!

Not questioning the deal in any way, and did not know the discount you received.

Well, it’s May 2020 production date and bought by me in November. All in all, I basically got a brand new, dealer owned car for $14k below sticker so I was happy with the deal. I didn’t get to spec it myself, but hearing from people here saying that they have no idea when they will get their cars, I just can’t fathom waiting that long. Life is too short and the car I bought looks great and had the specs that work for me.

Furthermore, in Nov 2020 there were no new 992 Carrera S Cabs in the Chicago area. Covid plus high demand really limited inventory, so I felt lucky. The dealer now has 2021 inventory out for display, so I guess I could’ve waited a tad longer but meh, $14k saved for a new product isn’t bad

Yup really bummed out. Hate the fact that I will lose the car for a week or more while they repair it and then bleed the lines. Also cannot fathom why there would be a coolant leak in a brand new car but then again maybe its because its a brand new car. Have not had anything done to it so cant imagine what it is but hopefully it is indicative of just some teething issues and will bode well for the remainder of my ownership

@Benedict14 So it seems that it was the QC at the dealership that was lacking and not Porsche itself.
The cause for my pink liquid surprise was that when they were prepping the car for PPI they overfilled the coolant tank and after my first spirited drive it burped the excess onto my garage floor and so yes I stand by my prior comment - as of yet the build quality seems excellent and I have not yet felt noted any issues, rattles, squeaks or manufacturing defects. Lets hope it stays that way !!!!

Excellent news !

I laughed at the description of your car after it’s spirited drive. As though it had just finished a delicious meal, then a burp went horribly wrong.

My initial post was more of a comment on the capricious nature of the car gods; a man makes a nice comment about his car, and then finds a pool of fluid underneath it the next day. Fickle beast 😋
