The more T's the better for the T gathering. Maybe we should get skirts made for the event. Ya know, T Tees. 😁

My salesman told me that if I didn't do Python he thought that the Gentian blue with the lizard green interior package would be his next choice. He had a GT3 touring with that combination come in and said it was incredible. I agree that the agate grey accents looks perfect with the blue. Congrats what a unique and beautiful build.

Thanks! Fingers and toes crossed there are no issues in transit or delays at the port for all of us!

U fellas should get @dassArse to join your trek together. He’s in Columbus also. There are some decent hotels in the area. West Point Academy is pretty close and drive up from Bear Mtn to it pretty nice also. U get some really nice Hudson River Views. On a clear day, u can see Manhattan skyline from top of Bear Mtn also.
one nearby hotel example…

UPDATE: Tools required to install side skirts.
- Torx wrench - 25 & 30
- Quarter
- Cardboard to lie down on
Damn, I cant believe you got them on so quickly! Nice work.

Its funny that you mentioned that Adam. I am working on a design with my buddy that owns a T shirt business. I hope to have a something cool to share that you all can order and have some customization based on the color of your car. This is a shirt that will be made out of a premium material and hoping to keep around $35-$40. I am paying him to design it for me and anyone can order it. This certainly doesn't have to take place from an event shirt that you may want to do its just funny how I just left talking with him and then you post this.

@Vernin Hang on I’m confused about where you actually DO live??
You list your location as …’Earth, Solar System, Orion Arm’.
That makes you a near neighbour.

For context, I took a detour to take my 992 T on a German Autobahn. Given that I have now 3800 km on the clock, it would be rude not to visit Die Autobahn, jaa?

Every time, this lovely icon popped in between the Tacho- and the Speedo-meter, it was ‘hammer time’. First sprint to 160km/h, alles gut jaa? Second sprint up to 180km/h, followed by 100km/h restriction, alles recht jaa? Third sprint up to 200km/h, wundebar!

I took the 992 T to 200km/h three times, the car was planted as if I was doing 140km/h. The motor was singing at 4000 rpm and 200km/h in 6th gear. The 992 was pulling like a train, no shortage of power here. I concluded it is a perfect car, for me right now.

Also, it is good to see that fellow motorists still have a healthy respect for 911, as I was charging like cheetah, most cars were making clear way for me. Even my missus was impressed. It was a perfect day!
Your missus was happily sitting next to you doing 124mph
Wow that’s impressive, you married well👍
Mine insists on referring to my T as my ***** extension in the middle of having a mid life crisis during my mid life crisis.
Does your wife have a sister??

What really makes Europe stand apart, is how little you need to drive to experience different language/customs/scenery and the amount of history still present, under various forms.

When I am visiting a "touristy" country, like France, Italy, etc...I like to play a game: guess where they are from. The Americans in Italy are sticking out like sore thumbsNope, us "Europeans" do not dress that way, even if we could actually.
I absolutely adore the United EURP. Yes there are political issues, but which country doesn’t have those!

Going from country to country, stopping in small towns for lunch, speak bad Italian, French or German. Most people are polite and patient with the tourists. On the freeways you see trucks from all over Europe doing free-trade business. And of course the freeway network is just stunning.

Life is good, let’s enjoy it a little

Yes, after +20 years of marriage we know each other rather well and we are good partners.

Re mid-life, the 992 is actually good for us, traveling together and having bit of fun again. Plotting routes in the pubs and booking hotels a day in advance…. Very different to my work which is organised to 30-min slots. I am having a grand time. I am already scheming what to do next year.

In the meantime, Goodwood FoS and REV is coming up. Oh well, I better start working on my Revival costume

@Pivot was it you planning on FOS on the Friday, I’m still scheming to get there. Has anybody heard if Porsche are having their dedicated car park this year? Anyone else planning on going?

Fo shoo! @NewTo911s I will be there and we should definitely meet. Porsche will have larger than us usual presence, as advertised on Porsche.co.uk site.

I am going in a convoy of two 911T’s, one from 1974 and the second from 2023
