I can’t wait to pick up mine and start driving. I plan on going to München first weekend and sleep in this room at the Ameron München Motor World Hotel (car studio room):
This has 100% been on my list since ticking European Delivery on my build sheet. Enjoy!!! And share pics of your T in your hotel room :-)
You mean from the wheel arches? That’s something I would just love. It makes the T a mini GT3 touring as it should be. On the 991.2 T the car had no/lesser wheel arch sound deadening. Just loved that sound and ticking of little stones in fast corners with a bit of gravel. I thought the 992 T did not have this but clearly they have left out more sound deadening material. Can’t wait to pick up mine and start driving.
you won’t be disappointed then… very very noticeable! At first I thought I was just on some bad road surface but you do get a lot of ticking! But you also get an awesome engine note… I took the revs a little higher today and she sings.
Yep. It’s silly that they are forced on us. But they have to come off for PPF anyway, so easy enough to just leave them off.
For anyone that wants the decals (as I 100% did) please consider this decision carefully; I discussed with the dealer and they said they would (a) probably be very expensive to buy separately and (b) probably not available for some time, and so I opted to keep them and just PPF over.
Excuse the dirt but I hadn’t even thought to look nor had I noticed, but here is a pic of mine; the front panel is PPF’d and the door isn’t. They have used Suntek PPF and quite frankly even on my hands and knees I can’t tell the difference and you definitely won’t a couple of feet away… if you want the decal and are going to PPF, just go over it.
I give you 80 more max! To be fair I have asked this question and you don’t need to be that cautious these days. I’m being sensible but definitely extending her stride now and I’m 180 miles in… 100 of which were today which was fun.

Was just at the at the ameron Motor world hotel a little over a month ago. Great place to put some track wrap on your car while having a beer (if your doing European Delivery). Really cool place.
I have PPF'd over decals before and also under them. I much prefer over. It makes maintenance much, much easier. Plus, this way the stripes themselves are protected. The vinyl stripes are very easily scratched.

wait.. if you do Euro delivery you get your car IN your room in an attached garage?? That is soooo cool. Only sick car people like us would want that… i love it!!

I’ve had several installers over the years tell me that if you apply PPF over stickers, the separation only increases over time. So what is not that visible now, may become obvious down the road. Just FYI. It’s moot for me, because the stickers would come off even if I were not having PPF installed.
