Re ADM/MSRP. Our local dealer has not had an ADM on any model during this entire debacle. One of the very few within the country. I believe their only stipulation was the purchaser(s) must reside within our state.
I actually don't think that is all that unusual outside of the coastal and big city markets. I think a lot of the flyover state smaller market dealers do this for local area buyers. At least for non RS product. The hard part remains getting an actual allocation.
I don't think a sunroof really matters for a 2023 car, or any car with Sport seats. The only place it's odd is when you spend the money on Full Bucket Seats. But I have Full Bucket Seats and a glass sunroof in a 991.2 T, and I like the combo.
Market is wild, cars are sitting, prices are coming down, on one hand some dealers seem cognizant of it, others don't. Private sellers seem more aware of market.
So, everyone I've met who owns a 911T has generally been a pretty serious driving enthusiast and that's probably why they choose this particular model. Lighter weight, manual transmission standard, etc.
But Porsche says the 911 S/T is the ultimate driver's 911 -- or at least their marketing department does. This prompted me to put together this video, which I'm sure will get a lot of hate, saying that maybe the 911T (as well as some other 911 variations) is a better and more accessible option. Probably preaching to the choir here but feel free to tell me I'm wrong!

Assuming you’re trading in ur S for MT T soon. Based on your “silly wing” comment, I guess u won’t be adding the factory aerokit wing, ha. Post pics of your T when u get it…. I freakin love my T!

Honestly, I've even thought about disabling my OEM pop up spoiler. I just really like the classic 911 shape.
My S is good, sometimes I wish I had bought a manual but the PDK is impressive and when I bought it I had a 1 hour (each way) commute in fairly heavy traffic.

I understand. I love modding cars…changed exhaust, added bass to sound and put on a body kit….except for a wing. That rear end curve & line I admit don’t want to change. I wouldn’t disable the active wing…..a lot of engineering went into the 992 aerodynamics (learned from industry insiders)…including the factory aero kit as well as some aftermarket ones (however, I’d avoid the made in China ones no matter how cheap the are….). As long as well designed/engineered…ultimately comes down to style preferences. I’ve said here in past, the aerokit wing is not my style but I get why some love it….
Assuming you’re still in Burlingame? I kind of get your driving in traffic comment….BUT, I’d only get a stick sports car.
Lastly….again, post pics of ur T when u trade in your S for it!!
I'm now officially the owner of my very own T! After nearly a year of waiting, I took delivery of my Racing Yellow 2024 this afternoon.
Congratulations on a very nice colored T! Love the yellow details inside as well.

Everything has already been said. It’s like a Go-Kart. Not meant for playing on the balance of oversteer and understeer.

The whole back compartiment as well. But what would you have wanted? The outside as well?

You do have to agree that we all freaked out after the post of @Uhu hahaha turned out the fear was ill-founded.

Leaving out power steering plus is a great choice to go for full “manual” engagement. About the colors and interior I think having the white outside color with red stripe and then adding the white panels inside with red seatbelts works perfect. But I think you really should add the red tacho and chrono as well. Not the full red stitching as this could be too much in the whole color scheme. But the red vibe is something you can add a touch of. Red belts. Red chrono and tacho. Red stripes. Also because your eyes during driving will see the white color in the sidemirror. The white color on the frunk while driving and the white inserts from the interior. You need to balance this of with some red. The belts are only seen when parked or when you put them on, not while driving. So a lot of white in your vision which you can compensate with adding some red details with the red tacho and chrono. Killer combo! Furthermore you specced the ventilated seats thus the 911 logo disappears on the headrest. So I would add a touch of Porsche on the armrest. I would do the Porsche crest/weapon. Or the Porsche letters.

Its a nice way of seeing things as they are. I just thought the clickbait (“the lie”) is a bit gone too far, but understandable.
