I roughly followed this, but I was a little more conservative, I waited till 500 miles to go much over 5k then every 125 miles I increased the Rpms I went up by 500 rpm so by 800-900 I could go up to 7.3k rpm, and did so, At some point I will post a video of my dad driving my car chasing a GT2 RS at the tail of the dragon, and keeping up...
In fairness, the Tail is a momentum road, not a power road - I could probably keep up pretty well in my '99 Miata.
Love the roads up there, but that one is just too crowded. Cherohola skyway from robinsville to telico plains or 60 through suches are my one weekend break in roads. About 400 miles of twisties both directions from and to home and a long nap. Do this for two days and day 3 wake up to new T ready to party.
I went from down near Murphy, up 28, down 129, through Robbinsville, and took the 143, to Tellico plains, then up the 360, then I believe near Maryville I took the 129 again down then passed through the dragons' tail. All the way down to the 143 then went and cut from Robbinsville to stecoah, on the 143, up to fontana dam, which is on the 28 then up to Historic tapoco lodge where I stayed. which is 3 miles from the base of the tail of the dragon
My dealer said 4500rpm / 80mph limit for 2k miles
The car's manual says 4k rpm limit for ~1800 miles.
I've never heard the 80 mph bit before - I'm calling bs on that. Last person I would ask about break-in is the dealer, and that one is clearly clueless. There is no mph limit - it is all about RPM. There are many different opinions/ideas for how to break-in these cars but all of them are related to managing RPM one way or another, nothing to do with mph.

There were miatas passing me! and some I let by and other cars and motorcycles I let by, I was not experienced enough to stay ahead and some of those cars had race suspension and the camber was track focused haha so I let some go by some let me go and I had alot of fun playing tag with other good drivers and driving.
Wow congrats @Cartod on your incoming SECOND T. I saw my first one in person at a Porsche event and man the want is real. The second one will give you a lot more freedom in choosing a specific direction for spec. I always feel like the first one you kinda just chose everything for FOMO. But maybe that is just me.
Thanks JCZ. I was really hoping for a pts car but that’s just the way it goes. I’m sticking with the classic old school exterior colors and sprucing it up on the inside. Been going round on a sunroof but it’s not something I ever use. Plus I just can’t used to the T sidestripe so I’m doing another slick top with a Motorsport top stripe. I think the T ethos thing is very much a personal choice. I used to own a 993 and a 964 at the same time and because I drove them equally the miles stayed low and at resell I was rewarded. That’s what my plan is with both T’s. I’ve worked hard and now that I’m a senior citizen this will help me enjoy my retirement years before it’s time to pass them on. The T is the only Water cooled 911 that absolutely stole my heart.

I like some of the bespoke stuff but it was too expensive for what you get
Thanks for all your explanation. Just to be clear: I too am crazy about leather, but left a lot of leather options out because it didn’t had a purpose on my current build. I can’t wait for the promised pictures of your T!

I can only agree with your conclusion. It’s a world of change after alignment. Getting a perfect car really perfect. Our numbers are much alike, but my camber R is -1,90. My initial feel was I wanted it a bit less. But after driving it for so many miles I really like it. Can only advice you to try it. Although I am curious now how -1,45 would feel.

Are you sure about the air vents in color? The only thing I would advice against. But go for it of course! And not the lower door parts and extended leather package?

This is my break-in scheme. I created it myself based on reading the internet, watching YouTube and listening to AP. All I can tell you that after almost 20.000km my car has no oil usage, it runs 900km on a full tank easily without driving like my mother, and can topspeed more than 308km/h (haven’t had time nor place to try it flat out) which is a lot more than the press car.
Road trip continuing to deliver beautiful scenery roads in Macedonia. What a country! What a car! I just HATE the folding mirrors on the pictures but keep forgetting it when I take them. Almost 18.000km now.

Yeah, the car really hunkers down and sharpens up nicely. I think the better move would be to get camber plates and go to -2.5 F and -2.2 R. That would be a great setup for aggressive canyon driving with perhaps a bit more toe in in the rear.

Wow, 18k! Sounds and looks like you're squeezing every drop of joy out of the car. Godspeed.
DASHCAM SOFTWARE UPDATE!!
Finally!!!!
Porsche have listened to the thousands of complaints about their garbage dashcam software.
If you have a Dashcam, delete and re-download the Porsche Dashcam app and you’ll see a message saying ‘firmware update available’.
Once updated you’ll finally be able to connect your cam to your phone. Hallelujah🙏
BTW if you haven’t yet locked options on a new order be sure to include ‘dashcam pre-wiring’. Costs peanuts and saves time and money if you get a cam!
Happy to report it will be fixed under warranty. I requested normal glass but doubt it'll be approved. I hope the new glass is stronger, though the issue is likely inherent to thin glass.
