Beautiful color. I’m a sucker for the right kind of blue!

Wow. $174k for a C2S without Burm and PCCBs. Now that’s impressive. Looks like something someone backed out of.

I’ve always been a sucker for Gulf Blue myself.

I agree with on thing...someone ordered it an then probably backed out. Looks more like Smurf Blue to me....it is stunning for someone but not sure I'd pay the PTS entry fee (isn't it like $10k) to chose THAT color though.

I suspect that this car will be hanging around for a bit and someone will end up getting a good deal on it. No dancing around it — that’s an expensive C2S build with some conspicuous options missing. If you are dropping that kind of cash on a C2S, you want it exactly to your own personal tastes. IMHO, this is not even a desirable PTS blue.

I bought my C4S manual from Porsche Beachwood. They are truly enthusiasts for sure. While this might have been an order backed out on, they do have the SA's configure several cars per year to a spec for their floor. From what they told me, the SA's pull together a list of wanted options on a particular 911 and build it together. They did this with my car, and it was a pretty good build. They only reason I mentioned it, I thought mine was a order, but cancelled - as mine was at the beginning of March just when Covid hit, and I looked everywhere for a MT, there were only a handful in the country at the time... I finally found the one I bought, and it had just been delivered and prepped. They told me how they group built it/configured it as one for their dealer floor units. So it could be one they spec'd. But assuming the custom PTS color, probably a back-out.

Wow, club blau - would look even better IMO with the exclusive forged wheels with the black paint option. The options push the total price is above Turbo money so depreciation will be hefty.

Beautiful car but that’s a LOT of scratch for a C2S, PTS or not.

Let be honest. $174,000 is too much money for that car. At that level go a little bit more and get into a very slightly used Ferrari.... that someone already took the depreciation hit on. A blue C2S is going to be worth less than 100 in three years.

Smart buy on this car is to find a clean car that had an MSRP of 120k and pick it up for 70 in three years. Those are Porsche residual numbers, not mine.

As someone who has been aggressively shopping Ferrari's for the past three months, I can tell you that for $ 172K you are going to get a 10 year old 458 Italia, a 5 year old FF, or a 4 year old California T, all are out of warranty (three years, unlimited mileage). You think Porsches are expensive? Not even in the same league as Ferraris on cost of repairs. It's common to write a 5-figure check when something breaks. There is not a large parts source for Ferrari, you are buying dealer-ordered parts for the most part. Example: One poster on F-Chat with a 2014 FF had his water pump go out. Dealer cost to repair was $ 20,000 ($ 6K for the part, $ 14,000 for engine out removal and labor) and he was looking for someway to get it done for less. Someone found him a used water pump on EBAY for $ 3,000 and it was thought an Indy would do the labor for $ 7,000. Still.... $ 10,000 putting a used part in! If you want to drop back to something like the beautiful 599, they are out there for around $ 130K, but have that horrid F1 trans that eats a $ 10,000 clutch every 30K miles and the four shocks on the car (can't buy them aftermarket) are $ 10,000 and they last appx 20K miles before they leak.

And the 992 S drives better than all those Ferraris you can buy used at the same price. It's quicker, corners better and pulls more G's on a skidpad. I know, I drove them all. Plus you get a 4 year, 50K mile warranty which is missing on those used Ferraris.

While the cost of this particular PTS car may not be everyone's cup of tea,, you would have a very unique 992S that was built like a GTS and would enjoy it for many years. I am probably numb to pricing having been shopping Ferraris - so when I pulled the trigger on my 992S Cab, the $ 159K sticker didn't even rattle me! It's much more sensible buy than a Ferrari and they don't depreciate as quick, either. (Did I just say a $ 159K car is a sensible buy? lol)

What do you think is missing?

Looking over the options list (below), while there is some fluff, I think all the popular essential options have been ticked.

I would say that car should have PDCC, that's about it.

At that price...PDCC, Burmester and PCCB. Those may not be popular on here, but this car is way more expensive than most on here would spec.
