wow $174,680 for a 2S is heavy, I have in order a 4S manual in chalk sticker exactly $136,500.00 and I build it exactly the way I wanted.
Im not saying a 4S is better then 2S absolutely not, we have AWD fans and 2WD fans, but again 174k is heavy.
Thats $38,180.00 additional in options over my 4S.
I just did a quick build on a Turbo and added the sport exhaust only and that's all you really need as it already comes optioned very well with the basic things you need in life and the build is $176,640.00

It’s a big build with 13k on PTS is the largest cost option, and it’s a unique build for someone that wants a different car for sure. My neighbor just picked up his turbo s that booked at 250k ........you may never see a basic turbo or turbo s spec’d low. Porsche are moving up on the cost side for sure, I remember my 2015 GT3 I recall 139k MSRP booked at 151k .......options are like a kid in a candy store. Happy 2021
Yes my friend Happy 2021

Price makes sense - PTS with full deviated panel/stitch interior is pushing $20k and you really do need SD package with PTS, which tacks on another $5k. Add in the expected premium options and there you go.
I wish they could have finessed the budget to allow PCCBs. Burmester would have been nice as well, but both options would be impossible at that price range.
Famous last words. It rarely works out that way.

There’s a PTS blue base Carrera PDK at my dealer. Love the color. https://www.porschemarin.com/new-Mil...AA2A95MS205463

I think it wise to go over to F-Chat and sign up to read their forum if you want to get into Ferrari’s. Here’s the thread on the water pump previously mentioned, for example.

Ferrari makes a wonderful car that is very much enjoyable to drive but they are not Porsche. Everything with Ferrari revolves around your relationship with the dealer, and that means $$$$$. Expensive extended warranties are the norm and almost mandatory, and all maintenance is expected to be done by the dealer. Then there is the mileage thing....resale on any Ferrari with mileage is difficult. A Panamera with 70k miles is sale-able, an FF with that kind of mileage is panned by almost all. Parts can also take months to arrive, depending on how specific they are to your car model.
I would say that by my estimate, you should be prepared to spend $10k to $20k on your Ferrari annually. Porsche would be $2k to $4k in comparison for budgeting purposes. If you can afford Ferrari, they are beautiful machines that will deliver great satisfaction, just know they come with different parameters than Porsche.

[QUOTE=ipse dixit;17135392]Aren’t you still under the OEM 7 year free maintenance plan?[/QUOTE
Indeed. That is scheduled maintenance as far I know. Not parts or wear and tear unless I’m mistaken. Am I mistaken?

It’s covered maintenance for 7 years provided you always take it to the dealer. Not to be confused with warranty which is three years unless you extend it for around $4,000 per year. Lots of people get that confused and think new Ferrari’s come bumper to bumper for those seven years, but they do not.
