First time owner here....so take my opinion for what its worth.

TT with SPASM is killer...

As LSM111 said, with the splitter retracted, there is plenty of clearance for daily driving.

The hips and rear wing are intoxicating when seen in the flesh.

The performance is shocking and certainly not needed. However, I would never again live without it.

If a Turbo is a possibility...do it!

@lucycan You'll want to read this review from a former C4S owner on his new TTS. You can probably draw some reasonable conclusions on what the TT will bring to the table. Sounds very impressive.

I imagined the comparisons would of been more focused against the 991.2 TTS.

Though it’s pretty impressive in its own right that the 992 C4S garnered so much more attention.

I was sort of in the same boat...mine being what to be a garage mate to my GT3T that I didn’t want to sell....and with budget being only one of the five considerations in my calculus 1. Styling 2. Features 3. Driving Experience 4. Who’s driving it 5. Budget. You may weigh (heavily) one over another but given what I already have, this second car would be assessed in that context.

I had a 991.1 TTS which when I got over the neck snapping speed of the thing was not so visceral as I wanted but I have been reading this 992.1 iteration corrects a lot of that. The slightly wider body and wing in the tts is beautiful indeed but some argue the C4S is better proportioned and equally attractive when set up right with wheels and glass top and colours - subjective. You can’t get a stick or a targa roof in a TTS - one or both of these options being a MUST - so that would be another consideration. MY wife will drive this one more than I (for sure) .....and finally budget is only the delta in cost which varies wildly in these cars when you option them but mostly half of the delta which you get ‘back’ on resale. if you score each of these on 20 you might be surprised what it says.

In the end, we chose a C4S Targa largely on its shear style orders it and five months later it arrives in a couple of weeks...and so whenever I lament on not having a TTS in my garage, I am comforted that there was some logic to the decision - logic to me anyway.🙂

Good luck with your decision.
