Was checking things out last night and ran across two aero kit builds at Porsche San Diego. Both are base/non S builds, but this one spoke to my 80's teenage self

Anyone else picture Crocket and Tubbs driving through Miami in this thing? Maybe it's just me?
I was there on Saturday and saw this one in person. Not a fan of the aero kit, Miami Blue, or wheels painted in exterior color. Someone will love it I’m sure. They also had a Guards Red and GT Silver with aero kit. The Guards Red looked good with it. Maybe because it’s such a sports car color. It looked out of place on the GT Silver. The car looked perfect until the back end.
I was surprised how many cars they had in stock since their website shows very few pictures. They have a gorgeous Turbo in PTS dark green. The color name wasn’t listed but looked like Brewster or Forest Green. Then they have a Turbo cab in Python Green optioned up to almost $300k!
Quite a few sold cars in their back showroom too. Many of which had the manual transmission. Awesome. Save the manuals!
That's no "dealer build". It is more than likely a car that some buyer ordered and bailed on.
Dealers don't love wheels in exterior color -- sale/resale universe narrows considerably. Wheels in exterior color when that color is Miami blue? This is a rare spec. LOL

Yeah agree that the color is special and some will love it or hate it but the aerokit narrows it a bit more and those wheels? If I was the dealership I'd swap out a pair of black Carrera Sports quickly as it may help a bit get it sold and neutralized things. I agree...custom car ordered that someone didn't follow through on!
That's where I got my 2nd chalk 992. And yes they do spec more wild than normal cars for a dealer allocation. They had some very cool spec'd GT4, 992's and a crazy Taycan turbo when I was last there.
I actually think it is a stunning car. I do love Miami Blue though. I just think it’s a lot of lipstick for a base car which I assume really drove the price up on a base model.

If it was a stick shift I’d be tempted. I’d just need to powder coat the rims.
Too much tire shine. And the PORSCHE side stickers really need to extend to the rear hips. Great color. In 30 years, this is the car everyone will be looking at during Porsche Parade 2051.
My dad sent me this today and I reckoned the car was a rare spec so I did some digging and I found your post. Unfortunately the car is now a salvage title, and they’re asking $60k for it
