Racing Yellow vs Chalk Vs GT Silver

Racing Yellow all the way. That's how I just ordered mine. All that matters is how it makes you feel when you walk into the garage.
The world is full of monochromatic boring colored cars. The biggest sin you can commit in life is to be common. So put some color in your life.
As to "chalk", I don't get it. Looks like dirty white and to me, reflects a society conditioned to ridiculous levels of conformity.

So I would definitely go Chalk. My second choice would be GT Silver. That was actually my second choice on my New 2020 GTS as I was having a hard time finding a Chalk 2020 GTS.
You know racing yellow looks nice on that car. But if you would like to know about resale value, From my experience Chalk is hard to find therefore up the value and demand.
You can't go wrong with any one of them in my opinion
Goodluck! 👌

I disagree-- to me, bright colors are reserved for special cars.... a non GT Porsche is not a "special car", it's the upper echelon of "non-exotic/utilitarian". I loved my rosso corso Ferrari, red Ford GT40, yellow Lamborghini and a few other cars that were "special" in bright colors. I love a good orange McLaren, the GT cars in the fun colors etc.
A yellow 992 screams "look at me" in a way that's sort of gauche. It's like the person who thinks a LV bag is special in a world of Hermès and Chanel....

I love chalk, and have a chalk car on order. I would disagree that it looks like "dirty white", and is "common". I think with black accents it looks like, "I drive what I like and don't need attention".

Aw, we can't all live your charmed life and only reserve "special colors" for our "premium cars" vs our "non-premium" 100k+ cars. I believe my 130k car can and should be any shade of color I want it to be. Bright colors are not look at me colors unless you're buying the color for that reason, then I'd suggest that person is a "look at me person" rather than the color. Pick the color you believe the car looks best in. End of story. RY FTW
FWIW, getting back on the main topic of this thread, after having a Forest Green Metallic Boxster I swore I'd never buy another Porsche in any color other than silver due to the difficulty in selling it. But it was more about the time it took to sell than how much it sold for. And, thankfully, my heart won out over my head and Miami Blue is on the way :-) (No wing, but maybe a stripe. So there :-p)

I wouldn’t be caught dead using dreadful, pedestrian black letters. Everyone does that. So gauche.

I have chalk and like the color...doesn't look like dirty white to me and depending on the lighting color is rich and special...much like Nardo Gray is for Audi RS models. Don't see it that often and that's okay with me. On some colors I do agree it doesn't work as well...these guys just reviewed a Porsche Cayenne Coupe in Chalk and I was like eh...no. Wouldn't order that car in Chalk. Also wouldn't do it in Racing Yellow either! LOL. I think some colors fit some cars very well and others not so much. Lambos are supposed to be Yellow and Green and Orange as are GT3s and such while a yellow Ferrari doesn't wear as well as say one in Rosso (red). So yeah RY is okay on a 992 as is Python Green...but it depends on the buyers tolerance for attention and wow factor. I'd just rather be a bit sublime with mine but at $100k you should be able to get it in ANY color you want and well I guess PTS takes care of that doesn't it? LOL

Buy the color you like. Resale value is not really predictable. If this is important for you, than don't go fancy on the interior. Like mixing three or more colors.
PS: Chalk is not a color, it's a primer

We are talking about a Porsche 911, right? It has a wow factor anyway. Friends, neighbours, people at the parking lot ... everbody will talk about it, because it's a 911, a 100k+ sports car

But under whom's radar you wanna be? Really think the color is important? This small little car, especially compared what is standard on streets in the US, is a not really under any radar. Possibly the way of thinking in your area is different, but I never heard anywhere, that a 911 is understatement.
PS: I live in the area with the highest rate of 911 on public streets you can get. So possibly I'm just used to it.

Beeing one of the fastest sports cars on the market, IMHO the technical spec and perfection of the 911 makes it a perfect daily driver. Not the look, not the color.

I should have clarified: it does not attract the attention that a Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Pagani etc. does. I agree, it is a perfect daily driver. You're agreeing with what I am saying then, that a 911 is not really a bug deal to see
