There's quite a noticeable gap when you compare the 2, but I'm assuming it's a design thing for it to be efficient in eliminating the buffering.
Following up on the unanswered question... 😅

Are these even available or is this a tease? I tried to purchase these but all I get on their website is an "I am Interested" button and an "Alert Subscription has been Saved" which I have no idea what that means. No purchase option.

I had these on my Cayman and they look fine and work perfectly. I will say that, as some have noted above, they did not seem to fit perfectly with a gap on the side and the bottom. I'm not sure if this was a flaw or the design. At any rate, they do not seen to be available on the website right now and - yes, $30 shipping on an $89 item is ridiculous regardless of the cost of the car.

Pretty sure they are swamped with orders; I placed mine middle of last week and the status on their site is showing "In Shipping Queue".

I ordered these, got tracking information, and then got a message that the shipment was recalled. Apparently they had some question, so maybe that's why they're not selling on the website at the moment.
