I think the fit looks spot on - I will mount mine today and report back . . . . .

@NigelPlays I think the fit looks pretty damn good based on your pics. The gap on the bottom is a slightly larger but honestly if you weren't looking for that detail with a side by side comparison you would probably never know the difference.

Does this look good? It’s the the only way I can get the screw in. Otherwise it doesnt fit.
Aligning the top insert flush with the door is not easy. It’s too thick.
Original piece fits much better.
I don't have and probably will not purchase this item. However, it looks to me as though the Diffuser is shaped properly, it's just pulled to far towards the center of the car. I'm thinking that the screw post on the Diffuser is a bit to short. Maybe a "Fix" would be to place a spacer (plastic or stainless steel washer) between the screw post on the Diffuser and its mount. That should position the Diffuser more outboard to the thickness of the spacer used. Just my $0.02 YMMV or course.

Mine fit perfectly. This is my third set of AWE foils for 3 different 911s, and these by far fit the best. Thanks again AWE for how you have handled this matter and produced such a great product.

Just finished my installation and looks good to me. Does it "fit" exactly like the OEM filler?? No, but it's a different part serving a different purpose, so would expect it to be a little different.

Everyone agrees that it looks great, but to me it looks bad. I guess I'll live with it.

Back in action to battle buffeting!

We are back! The 992 foilers are back in stock and ready to ship. As you may or may not know, we had stopped the sale of our anti-buffeting solution in order to improve the product and meet AWE fitment standards.

If you purchased a set of foilers and have not received them, you will be receiving the new ones.
If you have already received and installed them, you will be receiving new ones.

The part number for is now 1110-11017 for the pair and the correct numbers on the back of the Foilers are 200003 and 200004 - Driver and Passenger, respectively (see below). If you have part numbers 200001 or 200002 just fill out this form, and we’ll get you the right ones, stat!

Thank you for all of your support and understanding, we are sure the extra few weeks wait time will be well worth it.

Questions? Post here or shoot me a DM.

How exactly does it look bad? I can get pretty OCD about this sort of stuff, and I'm just not seeing anything glaring in the fitment. Overall, it looks like a very clean implementation of an aftermarket part that is significantly better in form than alternatives. Just my own humble opinion, of course.

Nigel, I love the clean OEM look too but I cannot live with the buffeting as I track my Porsches and like driving with the windows down on gorgeous Texas hill country days. So, I live with this design and AWE's product looks good for the price point given its practical purpose.

Thanks for posting your installation. I also went and looked at the installation video on their website and it certainly looks easy enough. Understand that it helps with wind buffeting (also good video on their site), but do you get more wind noise with the windows up vs. without? It would seem to cause extra turbulence outside your window, so just asking for your experience since you've had three.

I cannot hear any difference with the window up nor have I on any of my 911s. The install took about 5-10 minutes on the first side and maybe 2 minutes on the second one. Its very simple but I was cautious and patient with the use of the appropriate trim tool.

I guess i was expecting a perfect flush fit on the bottom. It just looks short in length to me.
