These are obviously touched up a bit and maybe I missed this during my research phase but my chalk 992 tends to absorb and reflect the colors of its environment in a subtle but really nice way. First adventure and photoshoot with this guy before the Oregon wet season kicks in.

Chalk looks that way in most lighting conditions, especially when not in direct sunlight or at dusk. Sometimes when people post photos on the forum, they are washed out. I, too, have a Chalk 992 that is 70 days from my build lock, and seeing the color in person really helped cement the choice. It does not look white or close to white at all (…contrary to some posts). It is a very obvious shade of gray.
This is the best photo i've seen that approximates how chalk looks in person. On this forum and on the configurator site, Chalk looks like dark white. In person, it looks great.

That is the one picture I have seen that makes me want a Chalk 992 and I went back and forth between that and Gentian Blue, ultimately picking Gentian over Chalk because I had not seen a Chalk in person and was not sure I wanted to go that route. I'm very happy with my decision, but if I ever replaced my 992, I would probably go Chalk next time.
Do you wash indoors? And if so, does that negatively affects the concrete in any way?
no I don’t wash indoors. It’s New Orleans so there is tons of humidity and rain. I had a car port closed in with the screens but it’s not really the best idea I’ve had.
