Default Does TYD have a sense of humor/pass the Turing test?

My 992TTS was on the Viking Queen, which docked yesterday at Davisville, where my car *should* have been uploaded.

However, TYD shows my car still on the ship as it heads away toward Houston - moving farther and farther away from my dealer in Connecticut.

While TYD may have a sense of humor, I don’t think that’s particularly funny.

It would seem that until someone at the port actually reports the receipt of the car, the TYD programming does not advance the last known position/status of the car. Same thing happened to me. As I recall it took a day or two and then all of a sudden the car was no longer on the ship in the Pacific Ocean. As if by magic, it was now at the Port of San Diego. which the RORO ship had been at, a day or two previously.

Yes - that’s what I assumed - or at least hope is the case!

I think that the issue with TYD is that it is purely backwards looking and moving to the next step only happens when you are logged out of the last step.
My build was slated for 11/20 with a completion date of 11/27. it went into production on 11/18 but completion date is still unchanged. I am sure that when it finishes its build on Monday that completion date will be corrected but all forward looking dates will stay the same.

Likely the person responsible for logging your car into the next phase just never got round to it and as soon as he does it will show your correct position

Yes, the very one, indeed.

Waiting to see if TYD can display some meaningful degree of human intelligence persuasively. To date, the evidence seems, to be polite, a little - shall we say - mixed.

I expect to have more to report when and if my 992TTS arrives in Houston or TYD shows it as having landed in Davisville (as intended).

Created the first AI to help break the Enigma code during WW2 which helped dramatically turn the tide in WW2. Was also chemically castrated by his government for being gay and eventually committed suicide. FU Britain. Way to treat the hero potentially responsible for almost single handedly ending WW2. The Turing Test is a test administered to determine if an AI is "self aware".

same one who was persecuted for his sexuality and eventually committed suicide having never been accredited for his accomplishments due to homophobia and the official secrets act.

The Queen pardoned him in 1993, but offered no apology for the persecution of all the other homosexuals before the passage of the Sexual Offences Act of 1967.

FWIW, my current phase (“Port Processing”) shows a completion date of 11/10, and the next phase (“En Route to Porsche Center”) shows estimated completion date of 9/11. Arrival at dealership shows yesterday (11/20).

It’s all jacked up.

Default TYD - sense of humor

Happily, TYD was only joking - now updated to show my car at Davisville, rather than heading to Houston!
