I think that the most likely scenario is that lever isn’t a manual shifter, but rather, a gear selector that replaces the nubbin for the GT3 cars. If they are doing that, the chances of the nubbin sticking around for the 992.2 cars is just about zero.
As we know, they’ve taken some criticism for the re-designed intertior. The Braun shifter, not being any kind of traditional thing, would be an easy bone to throw the critics in future iterations.
Not sure I see a brake pedal either. It also looks like an automatic transmission lever because of where it is currently placed in position. Normally in a manual it would be left in first gear, so the lever would be slightly left and up. It looks as if they left it in third gear, if it was a manual. So it is most likely PDK. But I don't think they'd do PDK only.
Other explanation is they have a PDK wheel on a manual car right now, but that seems less likely.
