What does Porsche do with these posts?
#16
Style and appearance issues are one thing, but one would think that if a bunch of people are (for example) reporting that the grills on Bose systems rattle, then Porsche would want to address the issue at the factory to avoid costly warranty claims over time. It seems like several people think that Porsche doesn't monitor this forum, or that if they do, they largely ignore the posts. This would be a huge disappointment, as the conventional wisdom is that Porsche is devoted to its customers and wants to do everything within reason to assure an extraordinary level of satisfaction with their products.
How many have complained of (for example) the Bose rattle? 5? 10? 15? Lets say there was 50, just to make this game fair.
How many 911s does Porsche make in a given year? Between 9 and 10 thousand cars for the North American market (US and Canada). And for the 992 in 2020 (thus far), it's been about 5000 cars to date.
So let's say the 50 bunch of people have Bose rattles in the 992, that's about 1%.
Does it make sense that Porsche would get too worked up over 1%?

See post #11 above...
Having test driven for Audi/Vdub/Bentley in their arctic test center, I can attest that they know everything, have done everything and from the many times I tried to interact with the techs and engineers, I was told not to bother them. As I said, see post #11

The 1% number is going to be wildly inaccurate, and they know it.
