what i great forum full of interesting topics 👍🏼
i just ordered a 992 s after 2 cayenne, a bit of change for me...even though i have 2 young kids but cant wait any further not driving that beautiful car.
as u guys i have spent a lot of time on the configurator, trying various stuffs.
as i go trough ur pictures i see often people having choosen not to have the model designation shown on their 992. I opted for porsche in black and carrera s black too.
my car is thiefschwartz (deep black) colored with glass sunroof and rs wheel, privacy rear windows.
now im asking a favor:
any one of you could kindly show me some pictures of a black 992 (rear view) with porsche in black and:
1/ no model designation
2/ 911 designation on
3/ carrera s/4s in black
sorry for asking this but my order is being locked soon and wont be able to change any details of it.
My C2S's rear badge is "911" as opposed to "911CarreraS." I almost went with no model designation. This choice may be a minor consideration for most owners, but not having hard to clean dirt buildup on the badging was the decider for me. Our Macan S's badge builds up dirt rather quickly due to what I guess is the rear aerodynamics of the SUV. The resulting grime is always tedious to clean off.

If you ceramic coat your car, there's no tedium or effort in keeping it clean.
I always leave the model designation off. I like to wash and wax my own cars and it is just a bother to deal with that. Besides, I know what the car is and could care less to advertise it to others.
^^ as per above, do ceramic coating. I haven’t see one, but thinking that the standard black with ceramic coating would look awesome.
I always delete the model designation - it's just too much.
Ceramic coating may help some - but there still is dirt and crap that fills up the gaps in any emblem. The more I can leave off the better!
IMO on a black car the "Porsche" emblem works better not painted - with it black it pretty much washes out - like it is not even there.
I vote for non-painted Porsche, but no emblem.
Painted Black - 911 also...
Both Silver
