Does anyone know if the 992 GTS front lip is the same as the 992 sport design front lip? (Other than the color, being body color on sport design, whereas on GTS, it is black plastic)

No one can know for a fact, but I would bet money on it being a black painted sport design lip.

I just sold my 991.1 GTS. The 992 GTS will undoubtedly have center lock wheels. If I chose to go with 5 lug nut wheels instead, do you know or think the RS Spyder Design wheels will be an option I have to choose from? I know the Carrera S wheel will be the standard wheel if you go with the 5 lug nut option. Thanks!

I would think so, typically the more popular wheel options carry over. On launch, the choices are more limited, probably standard carrers classic or center lock. After a few months, other wheel option should start popping up.

Order
I currently drive a Ferrari 458 and a 2014 911 4s and want to upgrade for a 992. The 911 is my daily including winter. My dilemma is I want a gts but don’t know when it will come out. Should I wait for it, or just go ahead and get my carrera 4s.
Also note that if I go ahead with the order of my 4s it will only be delivered in April or May.

Given your needs I would do the 4S, the first GTS’ may not be coming in until late Summer at the earliest. I check everyday for new announcements (announcing to announce) and it’s an echo chamber.

At some point you just give up too much driving fun waiting around.
Drive what you want until the next best thing comes along .. in a world like we are living in today that is what my instincts tell me lol
