Default Truffle Brown owners - any regrets?

I’ve always been partial to brown leathers but for my 992 it’s taken me some time to come around to truffle package.

The leather looks good but it’s a combination of it being brown everywhere, and also the brown plastics, that have me unsure.

Keen to hear from those that did opt for it and whether there’s any buyers remorse ?

I’m also keen to hear if anyone with truffle opted for the alcantara/racetex roof lining?

Both the 2D and 3D configurators show this as brown, which I wonder if is a mistake as when you chose the alcantara visors our steering wheel with truffle leather, they are black.

I was thinking that a black roof lining and black belts would soften the BROWN EVERYTHING look.

Appreciate IRL can be a lot different. But very few videos out of truffle interiors.

TIA

Opted Truffle Brown and love it. Take the Alcantara wheel, it breaks things up nicely.

I have mixed feelings about how Porsche implements interior colors. Like you said, EVERYTHING is that color. Their two tone colors are equivalent to other manufacturers interiors.

If the dash and floor mats were black, I may have selected Truffle Brown.

I plan to have the rubber mats regardless, so that at least “softens” it a little

I wished they had kept espresso brown for the 992, it's a much nicer shade of brown I find.

I had the same question about alcantara roof. If the alcantara roof is black I think it would look great. I will say Truffle isn't super photogenic... looks (and smells!) really nice in person.

Agreed! If we could get truffle and black as a two-tone option I would go for it in a heartbeat.

My 992 C2S has an all Truffle Brown interior including seatbelts. I am delighted with it every time I get in the car. Obviously, this is just my personal preference. I had a 2011 Turbo S cab with the Cocoa Brown interior, and my C2S brings back pleasant memories. YMMV

I had it in my 992 c4s and LOVED it...it's also why the car sold for such big money after as well. It smells great and just looks so sharp in person. the PTS 992 Turbo I'm ordering will have it as well! And just a set of black mats and the black Alcantara wheel above breaks it up just fine. Go for it!!!

I don't know the answer but be careful about stitching and make sure that the stitching is uniform in the car - for example, if you order steering column casing in leather like the car above make sure it has the same deviated stitching. Truffle brown is very classy.

Thanks for the replies.

Decided this is definitely for me.

Have attached some pics that provided the “depth of character” the configurator struggles to show.

Also, here are some answers I received to some of the questions I had, in case others find themselves at the same juncture.

1. Roof lining.
When truffle leather is chosen this defaults to brown cloth.
Selecting the racetex roof liningupgrade, the roof lining will still be brown.

2. Sun visors.
When truffle leather is chosen these default to brown vinyl.
Selecting leather visors, they will be truffle.
Selecting racetex visors, they will be black, NOT brown.

3. Steering column casing stitching
When choosing the steering column in leather option, this will auto default to the main leather choice.
So, if you have chosen truffle with crayon stitching for the main leather, this is also how the steering column leather option will be. If you choose not to have deviated stitching for the main leather, again this is also how the steering column will be.
This is also reflected in the configurator.

Speaking of black ... Has anyone done black deviated stitching on truffle? (Or, via the separate deviated stitching option, some other color besides the truffle w/chalk.)
