Throttle House MT review

That assumes that the "experience" is about redlining and going as fast as possible whereas for many of us the exact reverse is the case. For me and I suspect many others the pleasure in owning a manual car is the level of interaction with it, getting the shifts smooth and right, and avoiding the interference of computer logic into that process. If I just wanted to go fast I'd get a PDK.
I hate those damned things.

First I totally get and agree with your other two points but I have to disagree with having to get the S. Me: "Dear, are you sure you want me to get the 992 in a MT?" Her: "Absolutely, I don't want you (us) to have the PDK; the MT is much more fun!" Me: "OK, but that means I HAVE to get the S" Her: "So, just get it then".
Yeah, that totally works for me (and I LOVE the extra HP)!!![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
The 992 ... it's not driving; it's therapy.

I won’t beat a dead horse with that topic though lol

Just finished watching the video. Never heard of them, but will need to seek them out--very enjoyable.
And I loved the Arena Red 993--such an awesome car that, looks-wise, has aged better (IMO) than the two generations succeeding it. I think they're spot on with their assessment of the 992 and the headlights fully in the fender, as well as the longitudinal creases on the hood.

For a DD I would 992. For a fun weekend car I would go 997 gt3 or gts for sure.
