Adaptive Cruise Control?
I love adaptive cruise and Porsche did an "okay" job with theirs comparatively. The best I've used to date has been in my 2018 G63 or 2019 AMG GT followed by the ACC in a 2018 Raptor I had. Porsche is about on par with the Raptor but with several quirks that they need to hammer out.

My 992 is a weekend warrior so no ACC for me; however, the ACC I tried during a test drive in the 991.2 seemed pretty impressive so could you elaborate a little further about why you like Mercedes' better? Thanks.
I've had this technology in the last 5 cars I have owned. They are getting progressively better. The 992 system is certainly useable and I use it quite often in bumper-bumper traffic. However it is still not anything close to Tesla's system.
That gives me what I need to know :-)
I assume InnoDrive is still not up to Tesla but curious to how it compares.
I have not used InnoDrive. If Porsche can't figure out comfort access or the garage door opening system, I wouldn't put too much faith in their InnoDrive.
Question (putting a build together)
Is the only cruise mode on a 992 adaptive? Or is there a passive option if you find it to be too touchy, to where you can use 'dumb' cruise control at 70. Was talking with a friend who wasn't a fan on his 991.2 TTS and recommended passing, as the 991 has no passive mode.

You can adjust the following distance. It works so well that I can't imagine why you would want it working like the lesser cruise control.
Really? I checked the manual (page 31) and didn't see how to do this. It mentions "passive" mode but that's when ACC is not engaged.
I agree with the earlier comment that ACC works so well, there's little reason to want it to run as "normal" cruise control (unless you prefer to risk crashing into the car in front of you). Just set the following distance to the minimum.
