Attended the Master Course at the Porsche Driving School at Barber last weekend and had an absolute blast. Was thrilled they already had several 992 Carrera Ss lined up as a part of the course available for open lapping. Although the car I was most blown away by during the program was the Taycan Turbo S (the acceleration is thrilling and nothing else is like it of course but the handling is incredible also), I came away very impressed by the 992S on track. Compared to 991s that I have driven on other tracks including Laguna Seca, the 992S is incredible. I feel like it handles almost like a GT car out of the box especially when compared to the previous generation. The PDK is perfect and it sounds great. We used these for the skidpad and braking exercises. My laptimes were faster in a 992S compared to my times in a 718 GT4 because of the PDK and increased power. All cars had PCCBs of course as well as sports chrono, sports exhaust, and rear wheel steering.
I currently have a 991.2 manual GT3 and this makes me really excited about the 992 GT3 when available.

Nice report.
Oddly, I really feel like the 992 has slipped a little under the radar. It's a fantastic driving car. The GT3 is going to be incredible.

Looks like they pulled it. It was a 20% discount. You had to sign up for a date in July or August. It's gone now.

But I highly recommend the Porsche Track Experience. Great instructors and facilities at an amazing track. And lots of time in the cars such as 911 Turbo S, Boxster GTS, GT4, even the Taycan Turbo S!
