Soul Sport Cats installed in my C4...

John,
I have a lift in my personal garage. Does the bumper have to come off to install, or is that not needed? Thinking about tackling the install myself if I end up purchasing.

I can second Johns reply. I did mine on my lift and it is correct. You will spend as much time getting it on and off the lift as you will changing the cats. Be sure to get an O2 sensor wrench. It will make it much easier.

The ease of install is not gonna be good news for my bank account.

I think Soul has a few sales during the year My wife loves when I say I got it on sale. That is her line. One time she bought shoes and told me she saved me $50.
I asked why she did not buy 2 pair and save me a $100.

The 992 is a cakewalk, I'd almost say it'll take you longer to put it on the lift than to do the job but that would be exaggerating haha. No bumper removal required, just one big vband clamp to the turbo, one O2 sensor, and a clamp to the muffler assembly. Easy swap

Nice sounds great thanks for posting I think. I have no loose change under the couch. Used it all for my Akrapovic Slip on for my not yet build 992 Carrera S. Maybe I'll come back after I find some and its thru the production line and shipped by Porsche. Will you guys still be here for a brotha? LOL

It's okay banks accounts don't have feelings, and you'll forget all about it
Well...we can make those invoices say "whatever you want" for spousal approval. Most recently was for a buddy of mine David, courtesy of our marketing guru Mike Spock...
"IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Congratulations to David Belzner for winning Grand Prize in the SOUL Happy Wife, Happy Life contest. Please accept these desperately needed performance parts for your car….and about that…
Per the rules of the contest and the fine print (which you clearly must NOT have read as you entered) your weekend pass is REVOKED for 2020 track season. Your car is forfeit and sold wholesale with all funds donated towards a shoe trust for your wife. Any left-over funds will be put towards champagne and massages.
As your character runs deep but your spending allowance does not, please enjoy these gifts from us and may they treat you well on your next car. We'd recommend a BMW Z3 Coupe, it looks most like a shoe."

How long does it take to install these? I asked a shop about it and they said 4 hrs, that the bumper needs to come off. I hung up. The bumper does not need to come off! I'm just not seeing 4 hours worth of time to swap these?
This is the 2nd or third thread Ive found where someone said it took them or a dealer 45 mins to swap.
So I asked SOUL and they told me 4hrs too?
Which one is it? Because I doubt this is a 4hr job? MAYBE 2HRS? But 4???
