Yah, I sold my c2s for a tts allocation and while I loved how the hfc sounded I can’t deal with being a guinea pig; unless all issues are sorted out, I will not be adding them to my tts . I think all these makers need to take the no cel claim off their websites because it’s not true for 2021+

I dont think any of them are purposely holding out on that. Soul has been front and center to all of those affected. Give them a chance to work things out. Its not their fault the 2021 received different tunes. From what I can see, they have tired every O2 adapter in the book to see if that helps.
Besides, I dont know of many cars that you can slap a much less restrictive sport cat in and NOT get a CEL or need a tune. So if anything the 2020 guys got lucky if you ask me. But I am confident Soul will update there product once they have exhausted all there resouces trying to find a solution.
If I had a 21 that got the CEL with sport cats I would just get a tune. It will remove the CEL. Give you lots more power AND sound even better than it does with the stock tune. Yes its more cost. But you gotta pay to play gentlemen.
right, so until they figure that solution out it shouldn’t be advertised as such. I like soul and will continue to buy their products but the advert isn’t true. Your point regarding other cars is moot, I’m not talking about other cars. Many people base their purchases on the presence of any cel after. I wasn’t initially annoyed becuase I was one of the first people to have the cel issue as I was the first run of 2021s, but now that it’s a known issue the no cel claim should be removed.

We all know you are angry about the CEL. I am simply trying to say I dont think they are purposely misleading anyone. But if you feel the need to have them IMMEDIATELY remove that even while they try and figure this out, then that's your prerogative. But think about this. Who are they misleading? I'm willing to bet money that 99% of the sales of those sport cats are generated off THIS thread. And they have been active and responding to those with a CEL. So while I understand why you are frustrated. I think you are being a little sensitive man. No one is hiding anything here.
No one is angry, and certainly don’t clump others with your assumption regarding my feelings. I find it incorrect to continue to make such a claim. I run a business and would not make such an absolute claim if I had any evidence to the contrary. That’s my point. I also don’t care to assume how much sales is generated where because that’s again, not my point.

You seem angry. And it seems you are not willing to "hear" anyone else's point of view since you have this all figured out. Good luck with your CEL.
^ I would agree with Speedy though that since newer models are having CELs, Soul should remove the claim that their sport cats don't generate CELs when it's obvious (and known) that they do.
My car is a 2020 and I've had their cats for months and a few thousand miles without that issue, but this is obviously a problem from 2021 onward

I'm not arguing that. My point is, they are aware of the issue. They are clearly working on a solution. They have been right here the whole time. So why publicly chastise them so quickly?
Few months back Speedy thought John the owner was a great guy. And oddly enough, Speedy is selling his sport cats WITHOUT any mentioned of them not working on a 2021 currently too. lol.
Just give them a chance guys. Its not like these sell like hot cakes all day.
We agree with you, heck we have been so successful with the bespoke and thoroughly tested spacers up into last week that we fully believed no CELs was something we can stand behind. That said, we have taken that statement off the website based on feedback we've received before the holiday and you guys reminding us it was still up there. We expect that new 21+ Porsches with continuously revised and tightening emissions tolerances are going to exceed the current scrubbing capability of the largest 200 cell HJS HD cats with the most surface area and sophisticated wash coat they offer, regardless of the exhaust manufacturer building the unit around the cat cores. This is not definite, we still have 992 Carrera and Turbo customers installing these products successfully without issue and we expect others manufacturers will as well. However we are not going to leave this to factory variances, we are always striving to push the industry and development further for the Porsche community as one of the most publicly involved exhaust manufacturers. We are working DEEP down the rabbit hole of cat development as we speak, and if the current HJS 200cell HD cat cores are not the long term solution for CELs on this platform like they have been in the past, be assured we will have one in the near future

these cats aren’t my first soul product. The customer service is great! I’m not expecting an overnight solution. The fact that they are actively working the problem and communicating with the customer (me) is enough.
I’m confident they’ll work out the issue.
As a business owner myself, sometimes stuff like this happens, but they are taking ownership of the issue. You can’t ask for anything else.
I’ve been on there side of the table before so I know how it feels.

I installed the cats on my 21 C2S not long after the 2000 mile break in period. A few hundred miles in I got a CEL. Took it to the shop where we installed them, checked the sensors to make sure they were tight, wires good , then cleared the code. Ran another few hundred, light comes on again. Contacted Soul, very accommodating and sent me spacers. In the time it took to get an appointment at the shop, decided I don’t want spacers. Soul, no problem. Ran the car a little, not hard, all of a sudden light goes off. That was 1800 miles ago. Driving spirited, slow, and aggressive. I hope this post doesn’t jynx me. I really like these Cats but honestly I don’t want spacers. I have no idea why I seemed to luck out so far. No doubt Soul will get this issue solved. Hopefully 2022 doesn’t change it all again.
I have been on the fence on Soul Cats for months now. first I was all in. Then I started hearing about the codes. Then I saw they had a fix and mine is a 2020 so technically I should have no issues.
Someone local purchased them and I heard them on his PSE, we ran our cars next to each other and heard no difference, or not a difference that we thought was worth the price tag of $4000 CDN, yes, you American's are lucky, because once it's shipped with conversion it's $4000 CDN.
I'm still on the fence about these, and I'm watching these threads as I'm not sure if the cost benefit is good. Maybe at a better price point, or if someone is selling a used one for the right price sure, but at 4K with potential issues and maybe 10% sound difference, not sure if it's worth it. Just my two cents.
