do you need any special equipment to reset the cel or any obd scanner tool can reset this?

We were using a Piwis (factory Porsche tool). We had great results using the Autel MX808 and the iCarsoft OBD2 devices on the 991.2 gen cars but haven't tried them on the 992s yet.

Spacers landed, thank you John!!

Quick question, do the crush washers go between spacer and cat - or- between spacer and O2 sensor?

I did not use them on mine. Everything snugged up tight and after nearly 4k miles now are still tight. Only thing I used was a tad of anti-sieze paste.

Was "not using them" on the advice of Soul Perf?
I'll use some copper anti-seize this time round, thanks for the tip!

I only want to revisit this issue the once, so without any instructions included, I'm left wondering where they intend these washers to be placed.

Peter,

No I did not ask John, since there were no washers on the stock stuff I did not put any on the Soul Cats.

Default Thousand miles

It’s been a thousand miles since the CEL cleared itself, and hasn’t returned. Not running spacers. I hope this post doesn’t jinx it.

and I am still getting CEL even with the spacers installed.... Not at all anticipated when I signed up.

Made a service appointment at my Porsche dealer to fix this annoying issue once and for all!!

Hopefully it doesn't include recommending removal of these Soul Performance sport cats. This would be a first and it is not my first "aftermarket exhaust" rodeo....

Hey Peter,

Per our emails together a couple weeks back we may be dealing with an underlying O2 sensor issue causing codes (P0146 and P2271) to appear that are not normally associated with high flow cats but a faulty sensor. I just shot you over an email to follow up on that, please shoot me an update at your earliest convenience or give me a call at 4848836197 to discuss. We're always happy to chat and readily available

Regards,
John Gaydos

How did everything turn out? I'm about to get mine installed this week and hoping there are no error codes thrown.

I have the soul cats, with the aforementioned spacers, and no issues. This is on a 21 TTS.

Just got mine installed, took me about 1 hour.

The sound of the turbos is music to my ears.
