Assuming the CEL is on for P04200 and P04300 catalyst inefficiency, yes you can drive the car as if the CEL were not on. We have seen the CEL clear itself with and without the spacers over varying mileage, we have also seen owners that do not want to wait for the CEL to turn off and go clear the codes. If yours does not clear in a few drive cycles, I would recommend a reset.

I did not use them on mine. Everything snugged up tight and after nearly 4k miles now are still tight. Only thing I used was a tad of anti-sieze paste.

I'll use some copper anti-seize this time round, thanks for the tip!
I only want to revisit this issue the once, so without any instructions included, I'm left wondering where they intend these washers to be placed.

No I did not ask John, since there were no washers on the stock stuff I did not put any on the Soul Cats.

and I am still getting CEL even with the spacers installed.... Not at all anticipated when I signed up.
Made a service appointment at my Porsche dealer to fix this annoying issue once and for all!!
Hopefully it doesn't include recommending removal of these Soul Performance sport cats. This would be a first and it is not my first "aftermarket exhaust" rodeo....

Per our emails together a couple weeks back we may be dealing with an underlying O2 sensor issue causing codes (P0146 and P2271) to appear that are not normally associated with high flow cats but a faulty sensor. I just shot you over an email to follow up on that, please shoot me an update at your earliest convenience or give me a call at 4848836197 to discuss. We're always happy to chat and readily available
