I have the extended tank and a number of times when it shows I am “empty” I can only put in 20 gallons so a few short of what the tank can hold. If I slowly try and keep filling it I can put a gallon more. Bottom line I think it likes to tell me I am out and really have a few more gallons left.

This was an issue with both my Cayman and my 992. Solved the problem permanently, believe it or not, by always holding the pump nozzle at 9 o’clock position while filling at normal full speed. Works for me every time on both cars.

I posted yesterday in the other thread that was just revived on this subject. I tried this for the first time last night and it worked for me as well! Like magic.
