Digital 992 Owners Manual Attached.
Finding and obtaining a copy of the OEM Service Manual and the Parts Catalog for a 992 . . . now THAT would be REALLY nice!

Thanks for the clarification.
I had a Cayenne since 2019 and my trial Nav+, Infotainment, Car Finder, Security trial period ended Nov. 2020.
And since then I was not able to figure out what was the main difference between SIM B (external Sim with data) and the factory installed SIM A, functionally.
You clarified it and saved me unnecessary subscriptions. My phone's navigation and media offers more and faster.
I think I will use SIM B as a wifi hotspot.

The Porsche Connect services work across Europe. Roaming is part of the Service.
If you have subscribed to the Porsche supplementary data package, that is also pan-Europe ie no roaming charges.
If you have subscribed to this service (€39 per month I think) you should be able to see Your data status in the Porsche Connect App > My Account > Services section. I haven’t subscribed so cannot send you a picture.
If you have bought a phone SIM with data in an EU member state, I believe European Union law now requires that these companies no longer charge roaming fees within the European Economic Area.

So annual price is 228 CHF or Euros, equivalent to US$ 250.

Use your phone as hotspot and make sure you enable "cellular data sharing / connection sharing" on you cellphone; else your PCM connected to your cellphone will not have Internet access.

But is it faster? I am on a trial, but can anyone confirm that the built in SIM only operates at 3G speeds, as I have read this somewhere on this forum

I connected my phone to the Porsche Connect WiFi Hotspot when using base/standard data from Porsche, before adding ATT Premium Wifi. I then went to Speedtest app on my phone. The data down was less than 1mbps, well below typical US 4G download speeds. After I added ATT Premium Wifi, the Speedtest results jumped to 25-35 mbps down. Also, after adding ATT Premium Wifi, the indicator in PCM changed to show a 4G connection and connection/signal strength indicator, which was not previously there.

I inserted a tracfone sim using att network and no response. The pcm indicates the SIM card is present but no response. Any ideas?
