Default 992 Targa Orders

Just put down a deposit for a new Carrara white 992 Targa 4s, fairly loaded with options. This will be my first Porsche and I have to say this forum has been extremely helpful for; negotiation tips, deciding on options, 991.2 vs 992, etc.... Many thanks,

Hope allocations come soon.

Have to make one last comment on the dealership experience, it was all over the board, from super responsive, to me chasing / begging, and people basically saying buzz off. Deposit requests ranged from $1,000 to 25% of upgrades...I went with the best experience and however not the cheapest.

Now have to figure out ceramic coating options (I will use the other threads for those questions)

All the best,

We’re you able to secure any type of discount on the targa? I’ve wondered if dealers will be sticky with those for a bit

Here you go,http://www.porsche-code.com/PMDACHC7

Will make a couple changes prior to lock down, e.g. eliminate sport design front fascia, etc. In general going for a GT type car for trips to the beach etc....white / black combo. Will repost after this gets locked down. Thanks.

Nice build. Love the CW with Bordeaux/Black. Have you thought about going with just 911 on the rear? Everyone knows it's a Targa 4, so why have all that writing on the back. Maybe in black to match your white/black theme.

Have you considered red with chalk stitching, as opposed to red/black

I did the full model delete on my Macan and my 991.2. However, I thought the back end of the 992 needed some ornamentation, so I opted for the silver 911.

oh ya. I actually like the alcantara and red stitching in the old 991. Wife wants the red interior.

I had Bordeaux/Black in my 991.2 Cab and have Garnet Red/Black in my Macan. Great combo. Does the 992 Bordeaux/Black have red stitching like my Macan?

I think so, so no deviated stitching look on the red leather with red stitching
